Halal certificate is a sign that a product processed food, beverages, and cosmetics can be consumed and used by Muslims. Because in Indonesia most Indonesian citizens are Muslim, this certificate must be included. The ease of obtaining a halal certificate is one of the advantages of the Job Creation Law.

MSME entrepreneurs try to be professional by branding their products so that they attract buyers. They make beautiful packaging and advertise it even more. MSMEs businessmen in the food, beverage and cosmetics sectors are also trying to obtain halal certificates in order to convince their consumers, who are mostly Muslims.

But unfortunately it costs millions of rupiah to get a halal certificate. The process is also quite long, including training by LPPOM MUI, understanding the halal guarantee system, preparing documents, then registering online. then there is the pre-audit monitoring process, paying fees, implementation, and post-audit monitoring.

The government is trying to ease the burden on MSME entrepreneurs who are still starting their business, by eliminating the cost of halal certification. This is stated in article 91 of the Job Creation Law. The cost of obtaining halal certification can be free because it is borne by the government. UMKM entrepreneurs cheered because they were fully supported by the government.

With the new rules in the Job Creation Law, new entrepreneurs who will open MSME businesses in the culinary field will be greatly helped. Because for them, 2 million rupiahs to get halal certification is huge. If the cost is free, they just need to focus on increasing sales.

If a culinary and cosmetic product already has an MUI halal label, it will certainly be more in demand in the market. Because the public feels safe when consuming or using it. The UMKM business is getting more advanced because sales are increasing, and they can expand their business again by adding product variations.

Unfortunately to enlarge an SME business also requires additional capital. Because it takes a lot of funds to add raw materials or enlarge production space. So where do you get it? Because it turns out that additional capital is also a problem for beginner MSMEs.

Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs Teten Masduki explained that in the Job Creation Law, there will be facilities for MSME entrepreneurs to get loan funds. Because they do not have valuable assets such as land or buildings, the business they run can become collateral to get additional capital. So that they can enlarge their business.

In addition to facilitating capital, continued Teten, the Job Creation Law also helps with marketing problems. A halal product can be more viral if the marketing is good. In this law, there will be the placement of MSMEs in crowded places such as airports and stations. So that means that many people will know the product.

MSMEs will also be fostered to conduct online marketing because they have proven to have a wider market share. There will be a business incubation program fostered by the work unit, and the government will digitize marketing so that MSMEs can progress. So that they are no longer technologically illiterate but take advantage of the virtual world to advertise their products.

There are lots of conveniences for doing business for MSMEs in the Job Creation Act. MSMEs also make it easier to get halal certification because it can be done online and the cost is 100% free. So it is hoped that they will become increasingly successful in their business and participate in enriching the world of trade in Indonesia.

The Job Creation Law has proven to be of great benefit to all Indonesians. Including UMKM business people. They are really cared for and made easy in running their business. You can also get a loan even without any property assets, because your business can be used as collateral.
