Vaccination Effectively Protects People From Covid-19 Transmission

Until now the Covid-19 pandemic has not ended. In order to suppress the increasing number of cases, the provision of the Covid-19 vaccine to the public is also still being carried out. The government recommends that everyone get it. This vaccine is considered most appropriate solution to reduce the spread and protect the i community from infection Covid-19. 

Covid-19 is a virus that has become an epidemic in every country in the world. This virus originated in an area in China, namely Wuhan. Countries around the world are getting worried about this pandemic. All sectors that affect the joints of a country’s life are slowly stopping due to this pandemic, starting from the economic, social, educational sectors, all of which are affected by this outbreak.

To minimize the spread of Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19), the government created a National Vaccination program with a target of 181,554,465 residents aged over 18 years to get the Covid-19 Vaccination program. The priority for getting this vaccine is medical personnel who have struggled since the beginning of the presence of this pandemic in Indonesia. President Jokowi also instructed to accelerate the Covid-19 vaccine program, which aims to protect all Indonesian people.

The Covid -19 pandemic in Indonesia began in March 2020 when two people were positively infected with Covid-19 cases. The government, in this case President Jokowi, immediately announced the news about two Indonesian citizens who were infected with the Covid-19 virus. President Jokowi as Head of State and Head of Government also immediately made steps to stop the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia.

At the beginning of this virus, the president ordered to repatriate Indonesian citizens in Wuhan, China. The President’s goal is to implement the mandate of the 1945 Constitution , which is to protect all of Indonesia’s bloodshed . The repatriation of Indonesian citizens who came from China was not immediately repatriated to their homes. The government knows that this virus is not an ordinary virus , but that this virus is very dangerous for every Indonesian people.

The government has designated one of the islands in the Riau Archipelago Province to serve as a place of isolation for Indonesian citizens who were repatriated from China . The establishment of this island brings pros and cons, and this is one thing that the Indonesian government must have been thinking about . The President as one of the people who make policies regarding the determination of the area to be used as a place of self-isolation has thought carefully about this problem.

Over time, the government has also established the 3M Protocol (Keeping Distance, Washing Hands, and Wearing Masks) this aims to stop the spread of the Covid-19 Virus in Indonesia. In addition, the president makes other policies such as establishing PSBB in regions in Indonesia. This is also corroborated by the Government of No. mor 21, 2020 on Pemb boss Large-scale Social (PSBB ) in Order to Accelerate Handling Covid-19 .

In the month of Ramad h late 2020 the government also make related policy homecoming ban due to pandemic Covid-19. The purpose of this policy is made is one form of the presence of the state in dealing with the seriousness of the pandemic Covid-19 and minimize penyeb a ran covid-19 in areas across Indonesia.

Then to minimize the spread of Covid-19 governments also me m create a new program that is a program Vaccination National . In this national vaccination program, the government through the Ministry of Health targets 181,554,465 people over the age of 18 to get the Covid-19 vaccination program. The main priority for getting this vaccine is the medical personnel who have struggled since the beginning of the presence of this pandemic in Indonesia.

This vaccination program presented by the government to all the people of Indonesia on the 13th January 2021, d ‘s people who first injected vaccine 19th Covid is President Jokowi. This is to prove that the COVID-19 vaccine is a safe and halal vaccine. At the same time a number of officials, religious leaders, and representatives of community organizations were also vaccinated. The vaccine that was injected to the President was the Sinovac vaccine . 

In addition, the Covid- 19 vaccine was also given to the TNI, Polri, ASN, teachers and lecturers. The provision of this vaccine was welcomed by all groups because with this vaccine it is hoped that they will be more immune to being infected with Covid- 19 in Indonesia and make their body power stronger in the face of this covid-19 pandemic.

On the other hand, Jokowi is targeting the national vaccination program to be completed by the end of the year. This target is not easy to achieve, but the government will make every effort to make this target achievable and to protect the people of Indonesia from this endemic Covid-19 pandemic.

The vaccine program launched by the Central Government is a matter of pride because Indonesia is the first country to start a vaccine program in the Southeast Asian region. Indonesia can be said to be lucky in terms of vaccines because other countries are still competing to get vaccines, but Indonesia has received the vaccine first and this is a matter of pride and gratitude as a large and sovereign country in protecting its people during the Covid-19 pandemic.
