Jakarta, CIDISS.CO – The Prabowo-Gibran government continues to demonstrate its commitment to eradicating drug trafficking by prioritizing a humanist approach and utilizing technology.

The Chairperson of the Indonesian Millennial Guard, Cici Nurain Pandey, appreciated the government’s firm steps in eradicating drugs, which are considered to have made various positive achievements.

“For me, this policy shows that the government has a strong commitment to protecting the younger generation from the bad influence of drugs,” she said.

Cici further assessed that the threat of drugs to the younger generation is very real. She highlighted its impact which not only destroys physical and mental health, but also disrupts their future.

“Of course this is a very important foundation for saving the great potential of the next generation,” she added.

The Prabowo-Gibran government places a humanist approach as one of its priorities. Cici explained that drug abuse often involves victims who need rehabilitation, not just punishment.

“The humanist approach is certainly very important, because drug users are victims that we should save, not punish without a solution,” she said.

Through rehabilitation programs, victims are given the opportunity to recover and return to being productive in society. Cici emphasized that by breaking this cycle, the impact is not only to help individuals, but also to protect families and communities from further damage.

In addition, technology plays an important role in efforts to eradicate drugs. The government utilizes technology for early detection and tighter supervision.

“Technology allows for early detection and tighter supervision so that it is more difficult for perpetrators to operate,” said Cici.

As part of society, the younger generation is invited to be part of the solution by supporting government programs, staying away from drugs, and spreading education.

“Let’s make ourselves part of the solution. The government has worked hard and of course our job is to support these steps by staying away from drugs, spreading education, and of course looking after each other,” she concluded.
