Sentani – Religious figure who is also the Chairperson of the GKI Sentani Class, Rev. Albert Suebu, expressly asked the Papuan Armed Criminal Group (KKB) to be able to stop their heinous actions which cost the lives of many civilians and security forces as well as material losses due to damage to public facilities. as well as people’s homes.
“To parties in the land of Papua, including the KKB, we should interpret what God has done as people who believe in God. Justice and truth belong to God, one day God will definitely prove it to us,” said Pastor Albert Suebu during an interview at Sentani, Jayapura Regency, Papua.
Pastor Albert Suebu further emphasized, our duty is the same as God who gave his life for everyone without choosing and sorting out who they are, so the love of Christ also flows in all of our lives to love all people on the land of Papua and stop actions that do not glorify God by doing cruel things to fellow human beings.
On the basis of God’s commandment to love God especially and also to love fellow human beings, not from ourselves, but to love humans from God’s side and must flow to us and we do it for many people so that God will be glorified from the land of Papua, added the Papuan religious figure Pastor Albert Suebu.
The Head of the GKI Sentani Class, Rev. Albert Suebu, also said that we have all become one nation on this land, namely the Indonesian nation within the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia, therefore we must continue to support one another.
As is well known, on March 3 2023 the KKB opened fire on civilians in the Meagabume district, Puncak Regency, Central Papua resulting in 1 civilian being killed and six others injured.
In addition, on March 9 2023, 2 civilians in Yahukimo were shot dead by the KKB while riding a motorcycle on Jalan Poros Logpond Km 2.
Then, March 25, 2023 The Armed Criminal Group (KKB) attacked TNI-Polri officers who were guarding the Tarawih prayers in Ilu District, Puncak Jaya Regency, Central Papua. As a result of the attack, three personnel were shot. Two of them died after suffering gunshot wounds.
Not long ago, on April 3, 2023, in Yal District, Nduga, Highlands Papua, KST or KKB Papua again attacked the security forces and resulted in 1 person being killed. Then on April 9, 2023 in Intan Jaya, Central Papua, their actions caused one TNI member to die in a shootout. Then not long ago on Saturday April 15 2023 KST Papua attacked security forces in the Mugi – Mam area of Nduga Regency resulting in the death of 1 TNI member.
