Jakarta, CIDISS.CO – The government’s firm steps under the leadership of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka in eradicating drug trafficking have received widespread appreciation from various groups, including the younger generation.
The Chairperson of the Indonesian Millennial Guard, Cici Nurain Pandey, assessed that this policy shows the government’s real commitment to protecting the younger generation from the dangers of drugs.
“Regarding the firm steps taken by the Prabowo-Gibran government in eradicating drug trafficking, it is a very positive effort and we should appreciate it. For me, this policy shows that the government has a strong commitment to protecting the younger generation from the bad influence of drugs,” said Cici.
She added that the threat of drugs is very real, not only damaging physical and mental health, but also threatening the future of the younger generation.
“With this policy, the government provides an important foundation to save the great potential of the next generation,” she said.
Cici also appreciated the humanist approach in eradicating drugs, especially for users who are victims.
“The humanist approach is very important because drug users are victims that we should save, not punish without a solution. Rehabilitation gives them the opportunity to recover and return to being productive in society,” she explained.
Not only that, the use of technology in fighting drugs is also considered a strategic step that deserves appreciation.
“Technology allows early detection and tighter supervision, making it more difficult for perpetrators to operate,” said Cici.
According to him, anti-drug education programs involving young people have also produced positive results.
“The education program that was encouraged, including tight supervision, made many people more alert. Young people now understand the negative impacts of drugs better and are increasingly active in voicing anti-drug campaigns,” she said.
Through the synergy between firm action, a humanist approach, and the use of technology, Prabowo-Gibran have proven their seriousness in protecting the younger generation.
With these consistent steps, Indonesia is expected to become a drug-free environment, supporting a brighter future for the nation’s next generation.
