Community Leaders and Activists of West Sumatra Declaration of Support for Ganjar Pranowo

Considered successful in overcoming problems regarding unemployment and poverty, this has made community leaders and also various layers of elements of the people to Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) activists throughout West Sumatra Province (West Sumatra) fully committed to making a declaration to support Ganjar Pranowo.

One of the criteria for a leader who is ideal and of course expected by the community to be able to lead is he who is able to present many solutions through various strategic steps to programs in overcoming problems that exist among the people, mainly related to problems regarding unemployment and poverty.

Departing from the existence of these two serious issues, community leaders and NGO activists from various regions throughout West Sumatra have strengthened their support by declaring support for Ganjar Pranowo at the democratic party and political contestation through the implementation of the Presidential Election (Pilpres) in the upcoming 2024.

Unmitigated, the community leaders and NGO activists from various regions throughout W Sumatra admitted that they were very ready to continue to oversee the victory of the Presidential Candidate (Capres) carried by the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P).

It is known that the declaration they made, namely the GP 24 Declaration was carried out in the city of Padang and was led by 3 (three) main figures who were indeed local community leaders. The three figures are Ardian Nova Chaniago, Jhon Kenedi and Toni Mardianto.

The enthusiasm and support given by the entire community in West Sumatra Province to the figure of Ganjar Pranowo continues to expand over time. So that the declaration of support was also followed by a large number of people from various elements such as farmers, traders in Minang, millennials, religious leaders, ninik mamak, mothers to activists.

They very solidly and compactly unite their strength in fully supporting the leader who is identical with the white hair. One of the community leaders who attended the declaration, Jhon Kenedi explained that he was providing support to someone who was indeed very suitable to be able to lead the country in the future.

He considered that the figure of Ganjar Pranowo was a leader capable of becoming a symbol of national leadership regeneration. Not only that, but he is also considered a leader who has a lot of experience as a government supervisor, also has experience in being able to directly control the running of government and even succeeds or has great success in overcoming problems related to unemployment and poverty.

All of the ideal criteria as a future leader of the nation indeed all existed in the leader who was born in Karanganyar Regency. In the declaration submitted, community leaders in W Sumatra really hope that Ganjar can become President in 2024 so that he will be able to develop Indonesia much better, especially in the W Sumatra region so that poverty and unemployment in Tanah Minang can be overcome.

On the same occasion, the Coordinator of the GP 24 Fighters, Adrian Nova Chaniago, revealed that the success that Ganjar Pranowo had in leading the Province of Central Java (Central Java) while he served as Governor for these 2 (two) periods was due to how the ownership and implementation of various kinds of programs were very excellent and well measured.

Adrian is very confident that if the presidential candidate from the party led by Megawati Soekarnoputri can be elected president in the upcoming 2024 presidential election, then it is clear that he will be able to greatly develop West Sumatra Province even better.

The efforts to reduce poverty in Central Java during the leadership era of Governor Ganjar Pranowo cannot be denied that he was a great success. One that can be used as an indicator is the number of workers and unemployment in the region.

As data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) for 2023, the open unemployment rate (TPT) in Central Java tends to continue to decline and is even always below the TPT rate nationally. Until February 2023 alone, TPT in Central Java was only 5.24 percent.

With the success recorded by Ganjar Pranowo in his leading experience so far, his figure has received a lot of support from various groups including community leaders to NGO activists throughout West Sumatra Province who have made declarations because they saw Ganjar’s performance in overcoming unemployment and poverty problems.
