Jayapura — President Jokowi will inaugurate the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) building in Jayapura. The building is expected to be able to advance the welfare of society through the younger generation.
In this regard, the Head of the Indigenous Peoples’ Institution (LMA), Port Numbay Ondoafi George A. Awi expressed his gratitude to the President.
“Thank you, Mr. President, for this magnificent and beautiful building. This building will accommodate all Papuan children, so that they are able to express their creations and talents,” he said.
Not only that, George also expressed his gratitude to the Head of BIN, General Pol (Purn) Budi Gunawan for fostering young Papuans through Inspiring Young Papua (PMI).
It is also planned that this organization will become a driving force for progress in the Land of Papua.
Then, he also appealed to the public to continue to support all coaching programs for the young generation of Papua so that they are ready to face global challenges.
“We appeal to the community to support this program. We invite our children to enter this building so that they can be nurtured, trained, trained, so that they form a good mentality. Because in the future the Indonesian nation will face extraordinary challenges of globalization, it is necessary to shape their mentality,” said George.
With President Jokowi approaching the inauguration, PMI welcomed him very warmly. Because in the future the PYCH Building will be used by PMI to carry out their work program.
PMI Secretary for Papua Province, Vitha Faidiban, revealed that the PYCH building was able to help the young generation of Papua to be creative and give birth to new innovations.
“With the presence of the PYCH building, the young generation of Papua will be helped to produce many works and do everything that can be done for the good of all people in the Land of Papua,” he said.
With the full support of President Jokowi and the Head of BIN, General Pol (Purn) Budi Gunawan, PMI representative, Paulina Ruwayari expressed her gratitude and admitted that all this support has been felt by the young generation of Papua.
“Thank you to President Jokowi and the Head of BIN for all the support in terms of the construction of the PYCH building and all the programs experienced by young Papuans,” he said.
Not only that, Paulina also asked young Papuans to take advantage of this magnificent building with complete facilities to be able to develop the potentials in each of them.
