Ganjar Pranowo has the same ideological struggle as Jokowi and Gibran, who are cadres of PDIP. This of course made all the volunteers continue to close their ranks by fully guarding the victory of the Governor of Central Java in the 2024 Presidential Election.
Political observer Emrus Sihombing believes that the support from Jokowi and Gibran volunteers who admit that they are providing support to Prabowo, or to anyone for the 2024 presidential candidate other than the name Ganjar Pranowo, is in fact mere rhetoric.
How could it not be, the article is that the volunteers will fully support the presidential candidate who has officially been promoted directly by the General Chairperson (Ketum) of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP), Megawati Soekarnoputri.
Several strong reasons why the support of Jokowi and Gibran’s volunteers is very solid and certainly very much for the figure of Ganjar Pranowo is because this figure already has the same line of struggle as Joko Widodo and Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
The governor of Central Java (Central Java) has the same line of struggle because they are all in the same house, and of course carry out a development program with the same ideology. In fact, it becomes very strange if there are Jokowi and Gibran’s volunteer groups who instead provide support for other presidential candidates who are not from PDI Perjuangan cadres because it is clear that they do not have the same ideology and program as the idol figures of the volunteers.
Not only that, but the full support of the volunteers with a solid heart is because they also see how the continuation of the development program that has been carried out by the President of the Republic of Indonesia (RI), Joko Widodo (Jokowi) during his 2 (two) terms in office and lead this country.
So of course these volunteers will continue to provide their support to Ganjar Pranowo because they themselves also will not allow the various kinds of development programs that have been developed by Jokowi to just stall and not be successfully continued by subsequent leaders.
In fact, previously it was known that President Jokowi himself had given a hint or statement regarding future Indonesian future leaders as his successors. He had mentioned that the prospective leader should indeed have to go straight down, with a forehead full of wrinkles so that his hair was white.
With the issue that recently emerged, that there were a number of Jokowi and Gibran volunteers who provided support for Prabowo, it could then be interpreted that there were maps of different volunteer groups, namely they could be divided into groups of pragmatic volunteers or ideological volunteers.
As for the pragmatic volunteer group itself, it is a group that seems to have a desire to be able to achieve certain goals or political interests so that they can easily change the direction of their support. There is a phenomenon of this pragmatic group of volunteers without having clear principles, in fact it is even less to say if they continue to refer to themselves as ‘volunteers’.
The reason is, the word volunteers themselves are supposed to be those who like the day and are willing to provide support with no frills in exchange for the expected benefits, whether it is regarding a certain position or other political matters. However, it turns out that there are still such groups of volunteers, so it would be more appropriate to call them ‘pragmatic politicians’ because they have a specific hidden purpose.
This is very different when compared to ideological volunteer groups because they will tend to have clear and firm lines to support their prospective leaders based on their thoughts or ideology. Meanwhile, in this group, they are not pursuing certain advantages at all because they already feel very happy if the figure they support with their ideology is able to win the General Election (Election) contest.
In fact, even if you look at the numbers, there are far more Jokowi and Gibran ideological volunteers who voted for Ganjar Pranowo, while other groups that tend to be pragmatic have only a small number.
Moreover, until now there has been absolutely no official statement from Joko Widodo or Gibran Rakabuming Raka who supports Prabowo because it is certain that the two figures will drop their support for fellow PDI Perjuangan cadres, namely Ganjar Pranowo because they have the same ideology of struggle. The same.
Therefore, the volunteers continue to close ranks and escort Ganjar Pranowo full of victory and success in the contestation of the democratic party for the upcoming 2024 Presidential Election (Election) due to their ownership of basic ideological values to the same struggle as Jokowi and Gibran who are cadres from PDIP .
