Officially Determines Position, First and Oldest Islamic Party PPP Supports Ganjar Pranowo to Become 2024 Presidential Candidate
Yogyakarta — The First and Oldest Islamic Party, namely the United Development Party or PPP, has officially declared Ganjar Pranowo as the 2024 Presidential Candidate. This decision was conveyed directly by the Plt Ketum PPP, Muhammad Mardiono and a number of other PPP elites.
“After going through deliberations and in-depth discussions, by saying bismillahirrohmanirrohim, PPP has decided Mr. Ganjar Pranowo as the Indonesian presidential candidate in the upcoming 2024 presidential election,” said Mardiono at the People’s Party event which was held in Yogyakarta on Wednesday (26/4)
He revealed that so far the figure of the Governor of Central Java has had many good achievements.
“Ganjar Pranowo, who is currently the Governor of Central Java, was chosen as a Presidential Candidate from PPP because he has a good background and has achievements,” said Mardiono.
In fact, the promotion of the name Ganjar Pranowo now has official and legal status from PPP because previously it was in accordance with the decision of Rapimnas V.
Furthermore, Mardiono considered Ganjar to have strong integrity. Therefore, Ganjar is very worthy to occupy the position of leader of the nation
“In addition, electability support as a politician has been proven from various surveys to have occupied the top position when compared to other figures,” he continued.
Not only that, PPP wants to continue political support for Ganjar Pranowo in his candidacy for President of the Republic of Indonesia to continue the leadership relay in 2024 and 2029.
“Similar support has been provided by PPP, namely political support for the Central Java Pilkada, PPP has made him the Governor of Central Java who is partnered with PPP Cadre Taj Yasin.” The Acting Head of the PPP said
Not only that, but PPP also wants to entrust the politics of Amar MA’ruf Nahi Munkar at the political level of the country in the future through the principles of religious politics.
Because, said Mardiono, PPP believed that with the culture of coming from the NU family, Ganjar definitely had almost the same vision as PPP.
“Historically, Ganjar Pranowo cannot be separated from PPP because his father-in-law is a cadre of PPP. Furthermore, his brother-in-law currently serves as Chair of the DPC PPP Purbalingga.” he said
With all these considerations, PPP has consistently overseen Ganjar Pranowo’s victory in the 2024 Presidential Election battle.
“PPP will also carry out political communication with the Ketum of Political Parties in the United Indonesia Coalition as well as convey the decisions of the Rapimnas to him,” concluded Muhamad Mardiono.
