JAKARTA — The results of the latest survey from SMRC show that Ganjar Pranowo continues to excel in the 2024 presidential election. This is also thanks to the support from various communities that are increasingly widespread.
Saiful Mujani Research and Consulting (SMRC) has released data from the results of the latest survey they conducted regarding the electability of the presidential candidates who will compete in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
From the results of the latest data it can be seen that the electoral numbers owned by Ganjar Pranowo have managed to increase and outperform the names of other candidates.
In this regard, SMRC Research Director Deni Irvani explained that there was a closed choice simulation for three names and Ganjar received support of up to 35.9 percent.
“In the closed choice simulation of the three names, Ganjar received 35.9 percent support, Prabowo 33.6 percent. Anies is in third place with 20.4 percent support. Those who don’t know are 10.1 percent,” he said.
Furthermore, it turns out that in the last two years the electoral numbers owned by the PDI Perjuangan presidential candidate have continued to increase from May 2021 to August 2023.
Previously, Ganjar’s electability was at 25.5 percent, but now it has increased significantly to 35.9 percent.
Meanwhile, the names of other candidates tended to be stagnant and some even experienced a decline.
According to Deni, the strengthening of the electoral numbers of the white-haired leader has continued since he was officially declared by PDI Perjuangan as their presidential candidate.
In April 2023 electability reached 33.2 percent, then continued to increase until May 2023 to 39.2 percent.
Meanwhile, the increase in electoral numbers owned by Ganjar Pranowo cannot be separated from how the community’s support continues to increase for him.
It is known that the Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno (PS19) Volunteer group in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province has made their declaration to fully support the 54-year-old leader in the 2024 Presidential Election.
After declaring their support for Ganjar Pranowo, the volunteers then made a strong commitment to be able to win him in NTB, especially in East Lombok Regency.
Former PS19 Fighting Volunteer, Ahmad Rozi explained that they provided support to the leader who was born in Karanganyar Regency because he saw that his figure had the vision and mission to continue President Jokowi’s leadership.
“We and our friends, with the presence of three presidential candidates (Ganjar, Prabowo and Anies) agree to support Ganjar Pranowo. Of course our choice is based on the latest national situation,” he said.
