BONE — United Sugar Cane Farmers (Petebu) fully support the PDI Perjuangan presidential candidate, Ganjar Pranowo, to continue advancing and succeed in becoming President in the upcoming 2024 elections.
Not only providing support, but they also continue to promote various other positive activities such as compensation for persons with disabilities, orphans and the poor.
According to the Head of DPP Petebu, Mappanai Lewa, the activities they carried out also aimed to be able to help other people in need.
Furthermore, they also invite the community to jointly build strength in realizing the dreams of sugar cane farmers.
Prior to the event, Petebu had also made a declaration of their support for Ganjar Pranowo to become President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 period.
In fact, the declaration was made in two different areas, namely Patimpeng District and Libureng District.
Mappanai also invited all levels of society to give their full support to the PDI Perjuangan presidential candidate.
“Cane farmers really hope that the whole community will unite with us to support Mr. Ganjar Pranowo as the father of sugarcane farmers, to become president 2024-2029,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the DPD Petebu Regency of Bone, Andi Saleng said that the community really supports the leader who is identical with white hair because of his figure who cares about the sugarcane farmers.
On another occasion, advocate and lecturer, Lutfi Yazid said that the figure of Ganjar Pranowo is indeed a leader who is easy to get along with, really appreciates differences and is people.
He is also very optimistic that the Governor of Central Java will be able to become a unifier when there is polarization in society ahead of the 2024 Election.
“I hope that Ganjar will become a presidential candidate, as the closing book on disputes, conflicts in society, sharp differences, which were very unproductive in the past elections,” he continued.
This is because the future challenges of the nation are indeed very complex, including to face the challenges of globalization.
Therefore, the figure of Ganjar is said to be able to bridge the nationalist and religious camps in the country.
“I hope that Mas Ganjar is a figure who can bridge, say, between the nationalist and religious camps. That is my hope for Mas Ganjar as a friend,” continued Lutfi.
