The electability of the 2024 presidential candidate, Ganjar Pranowo, has increased significantly

The electability score of the 2024 presidential candidate from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP), Ganjar Pranowo, so far continues to be the highest when compared to other Bacapres names such as Prabowo Subianto and Anies Baswedan. In fact, the Governor of Central Java experienced a significant increase in electability figures after he was overwritten by the issue of Indonesia’s cancellation as host of the U-20 World Cup.

PDIP has officially announced that the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, is a presidential candidate (Capres) to advance to the General Election (Election) in 2024.

Following the official announcement delivered directly by the General Chairperson (Ketum) of the PDIP, Megawati Soekarnoputri, at least 3 (three) names which have so far continued to top electability in various survey institutions, have indeed officially become Presidential Candidates (Bacapres) for the election of the democratic party. 2024.

It is known that apart from the name Ganjar Pranowo, there are 2 (two) other names, namely Prabowo Subianto and Anies Baswedan who will advance to the political battle in 2024. Then, the data shows that the electability of Ganjar Pranowo continues to be at its peak or highest, after being officially designated by the Ketum PDIP as the 2024 presidential candidate.

In fact, the electability possessed by Ganjar Pranowo was able to exceed other competitors, namely Prabowo Subianto and Anies Baswedan. Regarding the ownership of the highest electability vote, SMRC Research Director, Deni Irvani stated that the vote owned by Ganjar Pranowo had increased significantly from 13 percent.

It is known that the increase in votes by this size immediately skyrocketed after Ganjar was deemed the person most responsible until FIFA canceled Indonesia as host of the U-20 World Cup.

In the last survey regarding the electability of the presidential candidate (Bacapres) conducted by Saiful Mujani Research and Consulting (SMRC) for critical voters, namely the period from 25 to 28 April 2023. In the form of an open statement regarding the survey, Ganjar Pranowo was chosen by as much as 20.8%, then Prabowo Subianto’s name is below him with a score of 15.8% and followed by Anies Baswedan who only has an electability score of 11.4%, as well as other names far below them.

With the results of the latest survey, it indicates that indeed Ganjar Pranowo has experienced a very significant increase from previously only 13% on 4 to 7 April 2023, at that time after the decision from FIFA to cancel Indonesia from hosting the U-20 World Cup. .

At present, the electability score obtained by Ganjar Pranowo has soared to 20.8% in the last survey results, namely in the period April 25 to 28 2023, shortly after his name was officially announced as the presidential candidate carried by Megawati Soekarnoputri.

In fact, after examining that the increase in electability rate owned by Ganjar Pranowo has again skyrocketed and shot up due to the accumulation of a decrease in Prabowo Subianto’s electability rate, especially for voters who still haven’t made their choice beforehand.

Deni Irvani explained that the critical number of voters, who determine their choice of the Governor of Central Java, are voters who have access to many sources of information, especially regarding social and political issues, because they have cellphones (HP), so they can access the internet to find out and determine their attitude regarding the amount of news circulating.

It was also explained that these critical voters were lower middle class to upper class voters, who were more educated and also tended to live in urban areas. They also tend to be more able to influence the opinions of the electorate below them.

Deni also added that Ganjar Pranowo’s electability began to recover after the issue of the cancellation of Indonesia as the host for the U-20 World Cup and strengthened significantly after he was officially promoted by PDIP (previously at 13%, immediately skyrocketed to 20.8% or meaning up to 7.8%.

In fact, since last January 2021, the name Ganjar Pranowo has continued to be at the top of the standings for the highest electability score, outperforming the other Bacapres names in many survey institutions. He proved successful in achieving the highest electability rate to maintain his position and even immediately increased significantly after the issue of the U-20 World Cup. This high electability shows the people’s alignment with the figure of Ganjar Pranowo who is expected to continue various national developments.
