JAKARTA – The PDI Perjuangan Party (PDIP) held the peak of the Bung Karno Month commemoration, as well as a grand consolidation at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) on Saturday (24/06).
This grand event was attended by Indonesian President Joko Widodo, Indonesian Vice President Maruf Amin, and PDIP Chairperson Megawati Soekarnoputri as well as Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo, Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, Golkar chairman Airlangga Hartarto, PKB chairman Jazilul Fuwaid, PAN chairman Zulkifli Hasan, Plt PPP General Chair, Mardiono, Perindo Ketum Hary Tanoesoedibjo, Hanura OSO Ketum to the Head of PDIP Situation Analysis and Control Center Prananda Prabowo.
Apart from being attended by the entire PDIP structure, thousands of volunteers from Ganjar’s friends were also present as supporters of the future PDIP presidential candidate, Ganjar Pranowo.
On this occasion, the Speaker of the DPR, Puan Maharani, in her oration said that every June is celebrated as the month of Bung Karno. Puan also mentioned 3 important events related to Bung Karno.
“There are 3 important events related to Bung Karno, namely June 6, Bung Karno’s birthday, June 1, Pancasila, and June 21, 1970 Bung Karno died. Until the end of his life Bung Karno always gave it completely as in the Dedication Of Life.” said Mrs.
Puan also said that PDIP was solid from Sabang to Merauke, this was proven by the red flag of Bung Karno. where the PDI Perjuangan victory has given birth to national leaders who are loved by their people
“PDIP Chairperson Megawati has appointed Ganjar Pranowo as the PDIP presidential candidate. We worked hard together to win PDIP and Ganjar Pranowo,” Puan said enthusiastically.
He advised that he should maintain solidity under the command of Megawati Soekarno Putri, and fight to win the PDIP and Ganjar Pranowo as President.
In the same place, the Presidential Candidate (Capres) from PDIP, Ganjar Pranowo said that this place witnessed Bung Karno’s Dedication Of Life by dedicating it to the Motherland.
“The dedication of life conveyed here teaches us to serve the nation and the state, not serve individuals or groups. Here also the dignity of the nation appears,” said Ganjar.
Previously, the Advisory Council of Friends of Ganjar, Fahlesa Munabari said that the event was also a momentum for all citizens, especially the younger generation, to follow Bung Karno’s example in building a foundation for the values, vision and goals of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
“Ganjar’s friends welcome the Bung Karno Month Commemoration. We consider this big event to be an important momentum for all the nation’s children, especially the younger generation, to emulate the thoughts of the founding father and proclaimer of the Republic of Indonesia, Bung Karno, in building the foundations of the values, vision and goals of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia,” he said.
