Cianjur – The Head of BIN directly ordered all of his staff to be able to continue to reach all earthquake victims in Cianjur Regency even to areas that are difficult to access.

Main Inspectorate of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), Eman Sungkowo said the Head of BIN gave instructions to all of his staff so that they could reach all the victims of the Cianjur earthquake.

“In accordance with the directions of the Head of BIN, General Pol (Purn) Budi Gunawan, we will continue to reach victims affected by the earthquake in areas that are difficult to access,” he said.

Therefore, even to this day the BIN Humanitarian Team continues to carry out sweeps even to very isolated areas.

The sweep was carried out in order to be able to distribute aid to the victims of the Cianjur earthquake as optimally as possible.

Of course, this is also a firm commitment from BIN, which is at the forefront of protecting public safety.

In fact, because of the remote points in Cijedil Village and Gunung Lanjung 1 Village, the BIN Humane Team finally reached the location on foot because it was impossible for four-wheeled vehicles to pass.

Logistical assistance distributed by BIN is considered very much needed by the refugees to help them survive.

Some of the assistance included staple foods, medicines, children’s food, diapers and sanitary napkins.

“We deliver assistance from Divia Cita (IDC) batch 83’s wife coordinated by Mrs. Susilowati Budi Gunawan. That’s what we distribute in the form of groceries, rice, also pampers for children, milk, and others,” explained Eman.

Not only that, but BIN also deployed a medical team from BIN’s Medical Intelligence (MI) to provide medical services for the earthquake victims.

Furthermore, Eman hopes that this assistance can ease the burden on the survivors of the Cianjur earthquake.

“Hopefully the community can be helped, the refugees, both children and parents, can live this difficult time more optimistically,” he hoped.

Because it is trying to provide the best, the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) also cooperates with various relevant stakeholders to facilitate this humanitarian action.

Regarding BIN’s big commitment to helping the Cianjur earthquake victims, one of the refugees, Buyung Bima, admitted that he and the other disaster survivors felt very helped and gave great appreciation.

“There are 25 families in this tent, not to mention small children, women and the elderly. There are a total of 85 people. Thank God, we have been helped because of assistance from IDC 83 and BIN,” he said.
