JAKARTA — All supporting political parties continue to be committed to being solid and united in guarding Ganjar Pranowo’s victory in the 2024 presidential election.

Chairman of the PDI-P DPP, Said Abdullah, explained that the cooperation between his party and all the political parties supporting the white-haired presidential candidate was indeed the most solid cooperation.

The statement was in response to the Democratic Party’s plan to leave the Coalition for Change for Unity (KPP) due to the discourse of nominating Anies with Cak Imin in the 2024 presidential election.

According to Said, this fact indicates that all the political parties supporting Ganjar Pranowo are indeed the most solid so far.

“This fact actually indicates that the political axis that supports Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate is the most solid so far,” he stressed.

Furthermore, the Chairman of the PDI Perjuangan DPP emphasized that establishing political cooperation should be based on shared ideas and ideals for the future.

This is because political cooperation is something that should be based on a shared spirit and more fundamentally to see the shared challenges as a nation.

If political cooperation is based on a number of these things, it will certainly become much stronger.

“This model of political cooperation will be much stronger than cooperation based on cattle trade politics,” said Said.

On another occasion, the Head of the Perindo Party DPP Heri Budianto also stated that so far the electability of the 54-year-old leader cannot be separated from the work of all supporting political parties and volunteers.

For him, so far all coalition political parties have been moving very solidly as party engines down to the grassroots level of society and all segments of the electorate.

“Currently all forces are being mobilized to continue supporting Ganjar Pranowo to all voter segments,” said Heri Budianto.

Meanwhile, according to the Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI), Ganjar Pranowo’s electability as a 2024 presidential candidate has been steadily increasing since the last year when compared to other candidates.

In the simulation of the three names of candidates, the leader who was born in Karanganyar Regency managed to occupy the highest position with an electoral figure of 37 percent in August 2023, where his electability increased by 5.3 percent compared to last August 2022.

“We pay attention to Prabowo and Ganjar. Ganjar is ahead at 37% in August 2023, while Prabowo is at 35.3%. “So the difference (both presidential candidates) is only 1.7%,” said LSI Executive Director Djayadi Hanan.
