Analysts Confirm President Prabowo’s Commitment to Eradicate Corruption
Jakarta – President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto’s commitment to eradicating corruption in the country continues to receive appreciation. President Prabowo Subianto’s statement regarding his determination to fight corruption without discrimination further strengthens public confidence that the eradication of corruption will be a top priority in his administration.
On various occasions, President Prabowo emphasized that corruption is the primary enemy that must be fought without compromise.
“I am determined to eradicate corruption without discrimination. There is no place for anyone who harms the state and the people of Indonesia,” asserted Prabowo.
This commitment is not merely a political promise, but has already been demonstrated through concrete actions taken by law enforcement under his leadership. This shows President Prabowo’s seriousness in carrying out the mandate to create a clean and transparent government.
Political analyst and Executive Director of Trias Politika Strategis, Agung Baskoro, commented on President Prabowo’s commitment to eradicating corruption. The concrete steps that President Prabowo has taken in the fight against corruption can be seen from the arrest of four senior officials from Pertamina’s subsidiaries by the Indonesian Attorney General’s Office.
“This shows that President Prabowo’s commitment is not just rhetoric. The arrests made by the Attorney General’s Office show serious law enforcement. We need to appreciate this move because it is part of a larger effort in the fight against corruption,” said Agung Baskoro.
He further stated that the actions of the Attorney General’s Office in uncovering and handling this case reflect the government’s seriousness in applying the law fairly.
“The Attorney General’s actions prove the government’s seriousness in applying the law fairly and ensuring that corrupt individuals will face a transparent legal process,” he added.
Another political analyst, Iwan Setiawan, also shared his views on President Prabowo’s firm stance in combating corruption. Iwan believes that within the first five months of his administration, President Prabowo Subianto has shown extraordinary seriousness in addressing corruption.
“In the first five months of President Prabowo’s administration, many state assets have been successfully protected. The President has demonstrated seriousness in uncovering various corruption cases involving high-ranking officials, both in the state-owned enterprise (SOE) sector and in the tax sector. This is proof that his administration is committed to conducting a massive cleanup of corrupt practices that harm the people,” said Iwan Setiawan.
