Appreciating President Prabowo’s Government, Realizing Orderly and Safe May Day Celebrations
JAKARTA я The government under the leadership of President Prabowo Subianto has received widespread appreciation for its success in realizing the 2025 International Workers’ Day (May Day) celebration which took place in an orderly, safe and peaceful manner in the National Monument area, Jakarta.

Agus said that President Prabowo’s presence in the May Day celebration was a special concern for the Chief of Police, considering that this was the first time the President of the Republic of Indonesia had attended the event in person in recent years. His party supports Polda Metro Jaya in preparing the VVIP route for the head of state.

Meanwhile, member of the Cipayung Roundtable 98, Haris Rusly Moti, said that President Prabowo’s presence was a form of concrete support for the workers’ struggle.
He represented Roundtable 98 Cipayung in expressing his highest appreciation for President Prabowo Subianto’s concern for the fate and welfare of workers in Indonesia.
Haris also said that the presence of the Head of State on May Day 2025 was an important historic moment because so far only two Indonesian Presidents have taken the time to attend in person to defend the fate of workers.
“We appreciate this step because there were only two Indonesian Presidents present at the May Day commemoration, namely President Soekarno and President Prabowo,” said Haris.
Haris also considered the formation of the PHK Protection Task Force as a real step that reflects the government’s rapid response under President Prabowo’s leadership to the needs of workers. He called May Day 2025 a moment of unification of the people towards national justice and prosperity.
On the other hand, KSPSI President Andi Gani Nena Wea invited all workers to attend peacefully.
