BSSN carries out comprehensive cyber security to make the 43rd ASEAN Summit Jakarta a success
Jakarta – Head of the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) of the Republic of Indonesia, Hinsa Siburian said that his party is ready to succeed the 43rd ASEAN Summit in Jakarta by carrying out cyber security in a comprehensive manner. This cyber security is also carried out through coordination with a number of national cyber stakeholders so that security at the Jakarta ASEAN Summit can be truly safe.
This was conveyed by the Head of the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) of the Republic of Indonesia, Hinsa Siburian while in Jakarta.
He added that in the context of the 43rd ASEAN Summit in Jakarta, BSSN has formed a Special Task Force (Satgas) to focus on cyber security.
Hinsa Siburian admitted that his party carried out cyber security for the 43rd ASEAN Summit starting from before implementation, during implementation to post implementation in order to ensure that all cyber security can be properly protected, so that the 43rd ASEAN Summit chaired by Indonesia can run smoothly and according to plan. that already exists.
“A number of steps have been taken by BSSN, including testing vulnerability gaps in several assets at the implementation of the 43rd ASEAN Summit in Jakarta, monitoring cyber security related to assets used at the 43rd ASEAN Summit and profiling against potential cyber attacks in the Southeast Asia region. Hinsa explained.
According to him, based on monitoring results, it was also found that there were anomalies with the classification only in the form of experiments.
Meanwhile, BSSN emphasizes that synergistic cooperation with stakeholders is the main key to cyber security at the 43rd ASEAN Summit in Jakarta.
“Collaborating of course with all stakeholders for security, both with the TNI, Polri, BIN, and of course with internet providers,” said BSSN Head Hinsa Siburian in Jakarta.
Apart from that, Hinsa also said that sharing information related to the threat of attacks would also be one of the focuses in implementing cyber security at the 2023 ASEAN Summit.
“So, we have not only coordinated, but also shared information related to the attack. Then also share threat information. “BSSN, in accordance with its duties and functions, coordinates with other elements,” he concluded.
