Jakarta – Danantara Indonesia is further strengthening its position in the global investment arena by establishing a strategic partnership with Future Fund Australia.

This collaboration is a crucial step in expanding the international reach of the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (Danantara) and creating more opportunities for cross-border investment.

Future Fund Australia fully supports Danantara’s membership of the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds (IFSWF), a global forum for sovereign wealth funds.

This support is expected to accelerate Danantara’s integration into the international investment ecosystem and create synergy between countries in managing financing for strategic projects.

“We greatly appreciate the support provided by the Australian government to Danantara Indonesia,” said Danantara Indonesia Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Rosan Roeslani.

He emphasized that this support is a form of recognition of Danantara’s credibility as a potential investment partner in the eyes of the world.

According to Rosan, membership in the IFSWF is an important foundation for building long-term partnerships with various global fund management institutions, including the Future Fund Australia.

“We believe that cooperation with global investment institutions such as Future Fund will create new opportunities in funding strategic projects that can accelerate Indonesia’s economic growth,” he explained.

Furthermore, Rosan ensured that Danantara will continue to be a catalyst for national development that prioritizes the principles of inclusivity and sustainability.

“We remain committed to establishing global collaboration to realize a more advanced Indonesia in the future,” he stressed.

Established in 2006, Future Fund Australia has grown to become one of the world’s largest fund managers, with total assets under management exceeding A$307 billion by the first quarter of 2025.

Future Fund’s large capacity and experience are believed to bring significant added value in driving investment growth in Indonesia through this partnership.

Support for Danantara was also emphasized at the Indonesia-Australia Annual Leaders’ Meeting at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta.

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese agreed that Danantara has an important role in attracting global institutional investment and encouraging sustainable economic development.

This strategic step strengthens Danantara’s commitment to appear as a global player that is active, professional, and ready to compete in the international market.
