Defeating Jakarta Pertamina Fastron, Jakarta BIN Ready to Make History in Women’s Proliga 2023
JAKARTA – The Jakarta BIN women’s volleyball team managed to beat Jakarta Pertamina Fastron with a score of 2-3 (25-21, 20-25, 16-25, 25-20, 15-9).
The match between Jakarta BIN and Jakarta Pertamina Fastron took place at the Yogyakarta State University (UNY) Sports Hall, Special Region of Yogyakarta, Friday (17/2).
With this victory, Jakarta BIN established itself towards the Final Four and was in third place with 18 points.
Jakarta BIN, which was strengthened by a player from China, Peiyan Chen, managed to dominate the game so that Jakarta Pertamina Fastron was left without a move.
Outside hitter from Jakarta BIN, Aulia Suci Nurfadila, said that the match against Jakarta Pertamina Fastron had experienced a few problems. Especially when Peiyan Chen was rested in the middle of the set, making his team overwhelmed, but his team was able to overcome any shortcomings quickly.
“Thank God, even though there were problems, and Peiyan Chen was not fit enough, the obstacles were quickly overcome, if there was no pressure from the opponent. Hopefully we can do even better in the future and Jakarta BIN will win,” said Aulia.
Meanwhile, the Jakarta BIN coach, Octavian, revealed that today’s match was aimed at finding a competitive mentality for his team. Even though there were mistakes in several sets that resulted in defeats, Octavian is optimistic that he can present victory in the Final Four later.
“We’ll see for the Final Four, we also have a lot of rotations. Thank God, the rotation was running even though there were obstacles, hopefully this match will give us confidence to face the Final Four,” said Octavian.
The four women’s volleyball teams that have the right to advance to the top four are Jakarta BIN, Jakarta Pertamina Fastron, Bandung BJB Tandamata and Gresik Petrokimia Pupuk Indonesia.
The victory of the Jakarta BIN women’s volleyball team was inseparable from the support of the Head of BIN, General Police (Purn) Budi Gunawan, SH, M.Sc., Ph.D., who paid special attention to the development of sports in the country.
The victory for the Jakarta BIN women’s volleyball team is also a very proud achievement in reaching the Final Four.
