Esau Tegai: MBG Program Improves Papuan Human Resources to be Superior and Globally Competitive
Jayapura – The Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) Program has been implemented in various schools in Papua as part of the national strategy to create a healthy and superior generation.
Papuan community figure, Esau Tegai, said the MBG program is a strategic step by the government in creating a healthy, intelligent, and globally competitive young generation.
“The Free Nutritious Meal Program creates a potential young generation that is healthy, intelligent and globally competitive,” said Esau.
Esau appreciates the government’s steps in improving Papua’s human resources through the MBG program.
“I really appreciate the government, in this case the Indonesian National Nutrition Agency (BGN), which has launched the Free Nutritious Meals program as part of an effort to improve the status of society, especially children,” said Esau.
He continued, by providing balanced nutritious food to children, this program not only improves physical health, but also concentration in learning. In addition, as a strong foundation in realizing fair and equitable national development.
“This program aims to ensure that the fulfillment of nutrition in Indonesia in Papua is optimized and is the foundation for realizing fair and equitable national development,” said Esau.
The presence of this program is very important to create equal opportunities for the young generation of Papua, and become a solid foundation for superior human resources who will be the main pillars in realizing the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.
“The Free Nutritious Meal Program is for the development of quality human resources in Indonesia and especially in Papua, towards a golden Indonesia in 2045,” he continued.
