Female Athlete of PB ESI Assisted by Head of BIN Wins Gold Medal at Sea Games Cambodia

Jakarta – Deputy Secretary General of PB ESI Dr. I Gede Made Kartikajaya said he was proud of the achievements of the MLBB Esport Women’s National Team.

As is well known, the Indonesian Women’s Esport Team assisted by the Indonesian Esport Executive Board (PB ESI) led by General Police Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan, SH, M.Si successfully presented a gold medal at the 2023 Cambodian Sea Games.

The victory was won in the Mobile Legend: Bang Bang (MLBB) Esport championship after defeating the Philippine National Team on Thursday (11/5).

“I respect and am proud of Indonesian esport athletes who have so far provided extraordinary things. We invite the nation’s heroes. Indonesian Esport Heroes who won Gold Medals at the Cambodian Sea Games,” said Dr. I Gede Made Kartikajaya at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten, Friday (12/5)

Then, the Deputy Secretary General of PB ESI continued that he also expressed his gratitude for the glorious achievements that had been achieved. This is because the gold medal is the highest achievement in every championship, including the 2023 Sea Games in Cambodia.

He hopes that the various teams currently competing in Cambodia can also make similar achievements.

The reason, said Dr. I Gede Made Kartika Jaya, currently there are three more Esport teams that are still struggling in the Cambodian Sea Games.

Regarding the pick-up of the Athletes, the Deputy Secretary General of PB ESI revealed that this was a direct instruction from the Head of PB ESI General Police Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan, SH, M.Sc.

“The Ketum ordered me to pick up all of you Indonesian esports heroes.” he said.

Meanwhile, female athlete Esport Indonesia Vivian said she was happy for the victory she had won in the Cambodian Sea Games competition.

“In order to keep achieving and defending the gold medal, we will continue to play, practice continuously and we will extend our wins and tricks and always want to keep learning.” he said

In the same place, the Central Executive of the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI), Icuk Sugiarto said he was amazed at the achievements of the Indonesian Esport Women’s National Team.

“I would like to welcome the female Indonesian esports fighters who have made their mark on the Cambodian Sea Games stage,” he said.

Icuk considers that the victory of this Esport athlete shows that Indonesia’s achievements have gone global.
