Ganjar Pranowo’s electability remains firm amidst many political dynamics

JAKARTA — Ganjar Pranowo’s electability has remained strong and has not been affected at all even in the midst of the many political dynamics that have occurred recently.
Political observer from Al Azhar Indonesia University, Ujang Komarudin also assessed that even though there were several reports about agrarian conflicts, in fact the electoral numbers owned by the PDI Perjuangan presidential candidate were not affected.
“So, I see it that way.
“For the election, these cases will not tarnish Ganjar Pranowo’s election,” he said.
It is known that according to the Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) in their latest data it shows that the electability of Ganjar Pranowo has even continued to increase, compared to other candidates who have experienced a decline.
From the results of a survey on a simulation of three candidate names, the white-haired leader is in the top position with his electoral figure reaching 37 percent in the August 2023 period.
Electability continues to rise compared to August 2022, even increasing to 5.3 percent.
LSI Executive Director, Djayadi Hanan explained that Ganjar Pranowo’s electoral figures were indeed the highest.
“We pay attention to Prabowo and Ganjar.
Ganjar is ahead at 37% in August 2023, while Prabowo is at 35.3%.
“So the difference (both presidential candidates) is only 1.7%,” he said.
Despite the ongoing political dynamics, it turns out that the 54 year old leader remains calm and not at all worried.
He even admitted that he continues to support and respect all the decisions of the respective political parties regarding the coalition changes that have occurred recently.
“I never worry about being political, and in my mind is respecting all decisions of each party,” he said.
This statement was conveyed by Ganjar when he responded to the latest news regarding the joining of NasDem and PKB to support Anies and Cak Imin.
Meanwhile, according to senior PDI Perjuangan politician Hendrawan Supratikno, the trend of increasing electability of the leader who was born in Karanganyar Regency was certainly due to several factors.
One of the strong factors is the figure that Ganjar Pranowo himself has.
This also includes how the collective knowledge and awareness of society continues to increase in its name.
“This concerns political literacy regarding the figure’s past history, party affiliation,” said Hendrawan.
In the same vein, Perindo DPP Chairman Heri Budianto believes that the increase in electoral numbers from Ganjar Pranowo shows how strong the political parties that carry them and their supporters are who continue to work hard to win the 2024 Presidential Election. “Currently all forces are mobilized to continue supporting Ganjar Pranowo to all segments of voters,” he said.
