Jakarta – The government through the Ministry of Agriculture ensures that the stock of subsidized fertilizer for farmers is safe and will continue to be distributed evenly to support the national food security program.

This step is a real manifestation of the government’s commitment to providing adequate production facilities so that farmers can increase agricultural productivity optimally.

The Minister of Agriculture, Andi Amran Sulaiman, emphasized that the government has coordinated with PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) and distributors in various regions to ensure that the distribution of subsidized fertilizer runs smoothly and on target. His party also continues to strive to increase the interest of the younger generation in the agricultural sector through the Modern Agriculture Program.

“We ensure that subsidized fertilizer is available according to farmers’ needs and will continue to be monitored so that its distribution is transparent and effective. In addition, we encourage the younger generation to be more active in the agricultural sector through innovation and technology,” said Andi Amran Sulaiman.

The distribution of subsidized fertilizer is carried out in accordance with the established criteria, including being intended for farmers who are members of farmer groups and registered in the electronic system of the Definitive Group Needs Plan (RDKK). Supervision will continue to be tightened to prevent potential deviations so that subsidized fertilizer is used by entitled farmers and is not misused.

Special Staff of the Minister of Agriculture, Sam Herodian, emphasized that the government is committed to ensuring that fertilizer subsidies are provided on target. Active participation from the community and farmers is essential to maintain transparency in distribution.

“We urge the community and farmers to report any indication of irregularities so that the distribution of subsidized fertilizers remains fair and transparent. This is a joint effort to support national food security,” he explained.

Meanwhile, President Director of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), Rahmad Pribadi, said that his party has prepared a more effective distribution system so that fertilizers can reach farmers on time. The company also ensures the readiness of stock in warehouses from line I to line IV throughout Indonesia to avoid shortages.

“We continue to increase distribution efficiency and guarantee that farmers will not experience difficulties in obtaining the subsidized fertilizers they need,” said Rahmad Pribadi.

With the certainty of subsidized fertilizer stocks, farmers can focus more on increasing agricultural production to strengthen national food security. The government also continues to invite all parties to collaborate in supporting the agricultural sector as the main pillar of the national economy.

The synergy between the government, BUMN, and farmers is expected to further strengthen food security and improve the welfare of farmers throughout Indonesia.
