Hundreds of Airlangga University Alumnus Solidly Support Presidential Candidate Ganjar Pranowo

Hundreds of alumni from Airlangga University stated that they were determined to support the name of the presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo at the upcoming 2024 election democratic party.
After being selected as a presidential candidate (Capres) for the 2024-2029 period by the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP), now the name Ganjar Pranowo has skyrocketed to continue President Joko Widodo’s programs.
Regarding this matter, hundreds of alumni of Airlangga University (Unair) Surabaya firmly declared their support for the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, the PDI Perjuangan choice, to be the next presidential candidate. Hundreds of alumni who are members of the Arek Ksatria Airlangga Network (JaKa) held a declaration at the Merah Putih Joglo House, Jalan Ir. Soekarno, Surabaya to be exact today, Friday 5 April 2023.
The head of JaKa, Teguh Prihandoko, alumni of the Faculty of Economics, Airlangga University, said that Ksatria Airlangga was an organization founded, driven by and consisting of Unair alumni who were formerly known as Jokowi’s militant volunteers. Then, they feel they have risen again to support the figures who have been appointed and are deemed capable and committed to continuing Jokowi’s program. In fact, Chairman JaKa himself did not expect that the PDI Perjuangan would announce its presidential candidate this quickly.
JaKa’s main reason for choosing Ganjar is because the Governor of Central Java is currently considered capable, has high commitment, idealism, character, and views and characteristics that are in line with President Jokowi. The hope is that Ganjar will be able to develop something that Jokowi has started, worked on, and completed during his current leadership until it runs out.
How could it not be, Ganjar Pranowo himself already has high electability among the people as evidenced by the results of a survey from the Indonesian Political Indicator Survey Institute. According to the results of the survey, the figure who was said to be the most suitable to continue Jokowi’s work program was the PDI Perjuangan presidential candidate, Ganjar Pranowo. The survey was conducted for 7 days to 1,220 respondents by means of interviews.
Burhanuddin Muhtadi as the Main Researcher for Indicators said that as many as 33.2 percent of the respondents who considered Ganjar Pranowo fit to continue Jokowi’s work. Interestingly, this survey was actually carried out before the PDI Perjuangan declared Ganjar as a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election, supported by the PDIP. Ganjar also got the highest score, namely 34 percent of his electability, beating the other figures.
The method used in this survey is multistage random sampling with a margin of error of +/- 2.9 percent and a 95 percent confidence level. This means that this survey has a high accuracy value and also a high level of confidence, not a fake or random survey.
The support given by hundreds of thousands of Airlangga University Alumnus is no joke because they have many Airlangga Knights ranging from professors, doctors, to UNAIR alumni professionals to fully support Ganjar Pranowo as President of the Republic of Indonesia in the upcoming 2024 Presidential Election.
Regarding this matter, it is known that there were various cross-generations and cross-faculties who attended both in person and online at the declaration. Complete with their red and white uniform attributes with a blend of Madurese and Javanese udeng worn as a head covering, they simultaneously carried jargon to support Ganjar, namely, Airlangga, my Alma mater, Ganjar my President.
Of course, this entire series of events aims to win Ganjar Pranowo, who is considered capable of carrying out the mandate as the next President. Teguh himself said emphatically that he fully supports Ganjar Pranowo as President for the 2024-2029 period.
Not only was the motto of Airlangga my Alma mater, Ganjar my President, but they also made special chants that read Jarji Jarbeh – Ganjar Siji Ganjar Kabeh as a form of enthusiasm for them when holding mandatory meetings.
It’s no joke, because JaKa itself is an official organization with a legal entity as a forum for the struggle of Airlangga University Alumnus in the social, political and cultural fields in order to maintain the upholding of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution.
On the other hand, alumni of Padjadjaran University, Bandung Syarif Bastaman Faculty of Law considers the 2024 Presidential Election to be an important and strategic event so that they can use it as a momentum to continue development even faster and with higher quality if necessary. In this context, his party agreed to support Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 presidential election. According to him, Indonesia currently needs a leader who has no personal interests, let alone the matter of accumulating wealth and wealth.
He also believes that a figure like Jokowi exists in Ganjar Pranowo and he also believes that Ganjar will continue Pak Jokowi’s legacy. He was also done with himself. He will not be corrupt or KKN.
With the people’s full confidence that the Governor of Central Java is indeed very worthy and able to continue all the excellent programs owned by President Jokowi, it is not surprising that hundreds of alumni from Airlangga University have since declared their support for the PDIP cadre.
