Jakarta – The first phase of the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) development is showing significant progress. Regarding this, Acting Deputy for Infrastructure and Facilities of the IKN Authority, Danis H. “The RTJM development progress has reached 99.9%, with a total of 36 units prepared for state officials,” he added.
Moreover, out of the 47 planned towers, the government is optimistic that all will be completed on schedule.
In the infrastructure sector, the construction of access roads to IKN is also accelerating. Several segments have shown satisfactory results.
“The Karangjoang-KKT Kariangau Toll Road 3A has reached 93.4% progress for Package 1 and 53.4% for Package 2. Meanwhile, Segment 5A from Simpang Tempadung to the Pulau Balang Bridge has recorded 99.2% progress,” Danis explained.
Deputy Minister of Public Works, Diana Kusumastuti, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to completing the ASN housing development on schedule.
“All 47 towers should be finished this year. God willing, everything will be completed by April 2025,” Diana said.
She assured that this acceleration is being carried out so that ASN can be moved to IKN as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, Secretary General of the Ministry of Public Works, Zainal Fatah, explained that essential infrastructure such as drinking water and access roads is being expedited.
“Several projects, such as the Presidential Palace and the office building for the Coordinating Ministry, have been completed, while the access road to the airport is still being finalized,” he said.
He assured that the basic infrastructure will be ready to support the ASN relocation to IKN in 2025.
With progress increasingly approaching the target, the government is optimistic that the functionalization of the Core Government Area (KIPP) will begin as planned in 2025.
