Indonesia Orchestrates 19th PUIC Conference, A Step Forward in Parliamentary Diplomacy
Indonesia will host the 19th Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (PUIC) on 12–15 May 2025. The PUIC Conference is an important forum that brings together parliaments from member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). This international event is a strategic momentum for Indonesia to strengthen its position in parliamentary diplomacy at the global level, especially among Islamic countries.
The Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States, a meeting of parliaments of member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, has appointed Indonesia as the organizer of the 19th PUIC Conference in 2025. This important decision was made at the 18th PUIC Conference, which took place in the city of Abidjan, Ivory Coast, for four days from 2 to 5 March 2024.
