Jakarta BIN Successfully Wins Proliga 2023 Second Round, Budi Gunawan: We Pay Special Attention

Jakarta – Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), General Pol (Purn) Budi Gunawan continues to pay special attention to the progress of sports in Indonesia. This proved to be fruitful with the victory of the BIN Jakarta Volleyball Team in the second round of the 2023 Proliga.

On Sunday (19/3), the BIN Jakarta Volleyball Team officially won the second round of the 2023 Proliga championship.

The first place in the second round won by the BIN Jakarta Volleyball Team was confirmed after the Pertamina Fastron Jakarta Team lost against the PLN Jakarta Electric Team.

Meanwhile, Team Jakarta BIN itself has won 11 points, and in the end they are entitled to top the standings in the Second Round of the 2023 Proliga.

For information, Jakarta BIN and Jakarta Pertamina Fastron both have 11 points. But according to regulations, the team that wins 3-2 will get two points, while the loser will only get one point.

Therefore the BIN Jakarta Volleyball Team has the right to win the second round based on the calculation of the ratio of winning sets. The BIN Jakarta Volleyball Team itself is known to have pocketed 14 wins.

Of course, the maximum results that Jakarta BIN has achieved, even to the point of officially winning the 2023 Proliga, cannot be separated from BIN’s role through the BIN Sports Association or PORBIN.

Head of BIN, Gen. Pol (Purn) Budi Gunawan stated that his party continues to pay attention to the development of sports in Indonesia.

He added that his party would restart the heyday of sports and also achievements in the country.

“This year we are starting to pay special attention to sports development. Because we want more efforts to pioneer the return to the glory days of the country’s sporting achievements,” he said.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the BIN Sports Association (PORBIN), Komjen Bambang Sunarwibowo explained that the formation of the BIN Volleyball Team was a direct instruction from the Head of BIN, Jend. Pol (Purn) Budi Gunawan and are in accordance with government programs.

In addition, coaching and mentoring continues to be carried out for athletes, and this is important because athletes will be increasingly focused on achieving.

Of course, the success of these athletes is not only purely from the athletes, but from the good coaching and management of the athletes carried out by PORBIN.

“The success of an athlete is not only obtained from talent alone, but also good coaching and management of athletes,” concluded the PORBIN Chair.
