Makes It Emotional, PB ESI’s MLBB Esport Women’s National Team Presents a Gold Medal for Indonesia
Jakarta – The Indonesian Esport National Team (Timnas) under the auspices of the Indonesian Esport Executive Board (PB ESI) led by General Police Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan, SH, M.Sc, successfully presented the 2023 Cambodian Sea Games gold medal for Indonesia.
This historical victory was made by the Esport National Team in the Mobile Legend: Bang Bang (MLBB) women’s category after previously defeating the Philippines Women’s National Team, Thursday (11/5)
In her remarks when picking up the Indonesian Esport Women’s National Team, Deputy Secretary General of PB ESI Dr. I Gede Made Kartikajaya said he was proud of the achievements of the MLBB Esport Women’s National Team.
He considered that the athletes who competed were the heroes of the nation because they had fought with great dedication and extraordinary struggle.
“I respect and am proud of Indonesian esport athletes who have so far provided extraordinary things. We invite the nation’s heroes. Indonesian Esport Heroes who won Gold Medals at the Cambodian Sea Games,” said Dr. I Gede Made Kartikajaya at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten, Friday (12/5)
The Deputy Secretary General of PB ESI continued that he also expressed his infinite thanks for such a brilliant achievement. This is because the gold medal is the highest achievement in every championship, including the 2023 Sea Games in Cambodia.
“I would like to thank all of you Gold medalists in Esport Mobile Legends Mobile Legends: Bang-Bang (MLBB) Putri. Achieved the highest achievement in the Cambodian Sea Games.” he said
Furthermore, PB ESI hopes that the various teams currently competing in Cambodia can also make similar achievements. Because, said Dr. I Gede Made Kartika Jaya, currently there are three more esport teams that are still struggling in the Cambodian Sea Games.
He also revealed that his presence to pick up Indonesian Esport athletes was a direct instruction from the leadership of PB ESI General Police Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan, SH, M.Si,.
“The Ketum ordered me to pick up all of you Indonesian esports heroes.” said the Deputy Secretary General of PBESI.
Likewise, the Central Executive of the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI), Icuk Sugiarto expressed his admiration for the Indonesian Esport Women’s National Team.
“I would like to welcome the Indonesian women’s esports fighters who have made it big on the Cambodian Sea Games stage,” she said.
Not only that, Icuk thinks that the victory of this Esport athlete shows that Indonesia’s achievements have gone global.
One of the female Esport Indonesia athletes, Vivian, stated that she could not hide her joy over the victory she had won in the Cambodian Sea Games.
“In order to keep achieving and defending the gold medal, we will continue to play, practice continuously and we will extend our wins and tricks and always want to keep learning.” he added.
Not to forget, his party was also grateful for the guidance carried out by General Police Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan, SH, M.Sc, and PB ESI in coaching athletes.
