JAKARTA – The Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs (Kemenkop) officially launched the website kopdesmerahputih.kop.id as the national platform for registering Merah Putih Village/Kelurahan Cooperatives (KDMP). The launch was conducted by the Minister of Cooperatives, Budi Arie Setiadi, at the Kemenkop office, HR Rasuna Said, Jakarta.

“On this occasion, we are launching the kopdesmerahputih.kop.id platform, which will serve as the official site for the registration of Merah Putih Village/Kelurahan Cooperatives,” said Budi.

This site will serve as a national dashboard managed by the KDMP Task Force together with Kemenkop, acting as a centralized data hub for the entire process of forming cooperatives at the village and sub-district levels. The platform provides three models for establishing cooperatives: forming new cooperatives, developing existing cooperatives, and revitalizing inactive cooperatives.

Registration will be done independently (self-declare) with a fully digital mechanism. Prospective cooperatives must upload documents from the special village deliberation and members’ meetings into the system.

“We will use digital technology to ensure that this process is transparent, professional, and accountable,” emphasized Budi.

Henra, a representative from the KDMP Task Force, added that establishing a cooperative requires a notary deed chosen based on the village deliberation results.

“Each cooperative unit will be monitored in real-time through the digital system, which will later be integrated with the Kophub Omnichannel Marketplace to track supply chains and cooperative performance,” said Henra.

Henra further explained that several data and requirements must be met to form a Kopdes. Before submitting the cooperative establishment application, it must be preceded by a special village deliberation and a members’ meeting, with the minutes documents being uploaded to the website.

“Since the Merah Putih Village Cooperative will be fully digital, we’ve created a microsite for it,” Henra explained.

To establish a Kopdes, a notary is also required. The choice of notary depends on the results of the village deliberation. The launch of this website is a follow-up to Presidential Instruction No. 9 of 2025 on the acceleration of the formation of 80,000 Merah Putih cooperatives by July 12, 2025, in conjunction with National Cooperative Day.

Support from local governments is already visible. The Pangkep Regency Government and Batu City Government held simultaneous socialization events today. Deputy Regent of Pangkep, Abdul Rahman Assegaf, hopes that cooperatives will become an economic solution at the village level. Meanwhile, the Mayor of Batu, Nurochman, emphasized that this cooperative aligns with President Prabowo Subianto’s vision to strengthen national economic and food security from the village level.

This major project is supported by the Ministry of Finance and State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), with an estimated budget requirement of up to IDR 400 trillion or approximately IDR 5 billion per cooperative. Budi Arie stressed that Kemenkop will act as a supervisory body for cooperative institutions and business models, ensuring that the system operates carefully and accountably.

“We want the public to say, ‘It’s lucky we have cooperatives,’ because their presence will truly make an impact,” concluded Budi.
