Jakarta – Political observer, Adi Prayitno gave high appreciation to President Joko Widodo’s leadership for the past 10 years. According to him, the public is satisfied with President Joko Widodo’s performance because he successfully built infrastructure.

Adi Prayitno also stated that Indonesia has shown continuously improving results and experienced significant progress in various sectors, especially infrastructure development, which has led to an increase in the quality of life of the community.

“During Jokowi’s 10 years of leadership, we have observed and assessed that the development carried out by him has been very satisfying. We are proud and satisfied with the various infrastructures that have been built by the Government,” said Adi Prayitno.

Adi added that during President Jokowi’s 10 years in office, the most massive development carried out was the construction of toll roads, non-toll roads, bridges, airports, ports and dams. This was done in order to support connectivity and reduce logistics costs.

“Infrastructure development is very much needed to catch up on the backlog of infrastructure indexes that are the foundation for economic growth. Not only that, President Jokowi is also building energy, transportation, agriculture, housing, and information and communication technology infrastructure,” he said.

“Then, the infrastructure development that has been carried out by President Jokowi in the last 10 years has been largely completed and its benefits have been felt by the community. For example, the construction of 61 dams during 2014-2024, where 43 dams have been completed to ensure the availability of water and national food security. This year there are 13 more dams completed, the remaining 5 dams will be completed in early 2025,” he added.

“Furthermore, to support connectivity to reduce logistics costs in the period 2014-2024, the construction of 2,700 km of new toll roads has been completed so that the operational toll roads become 3,480 km (780 km of toll roads have been operational from 1978-2014). For national roads, in 2015-2024 6,000 km of new roads were built, mainly Trans and Border Roads of Papua, Kalimantan, NTT, and the South Coast of Java,” he explained.

Adi Prayitno also asked the entire community to support and appreciate the policies implemented by President Jokowi and realize the vision of Golden Indonesia 2024 through sustainable development.

“The development that has been carried out should be supported and appreciated by the community because 10 years of President Jokowi’s leadership has been able to bring Indonesia more advanced,” he concluded.
