PDIP meeting with PPP Reaffirmed Ganjar Pranowo as the 2024 National Development Successor Candidate
Jakarta – The PDIP and PPP meeting confirmed cooperation in order to confirm the success of Ganjar Pranowo as the 2024 presidential candidate. Historically, PDIP and PPP have close ties because of the history of the birth of PPP on January 5, 1973 and PDIP on January 10, 1973. Acting Ketum PPP, Muhammad Mardiono emphasized that the meeting this is in the framework of following up PPP’s support for Ganjar Pranowo.
“The basis of cooperation in politics between PDIP and PPP is based on prediscential political cooperation, we will follow up all of this with many stages in order to make Ganjar Pranowo a success as a presidential candidate,” he said.
Ketum Mardiono also conveyed a message to Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate to continue caring for the people’s mission, because ideally the politics that the president carries out is politics that is amar ma’ruf nahi munkar.
“Ganjar as a presidential candidate must also be able to continue the leadership relay, mainly regarding development in Indonesia,” said Mardiono.
On the same occasion, the Secretary General (Secretary General) of the PDIP DPP, Hasto Kristiyanto, also expressed his hope that the cooperation between his party and PPP would be able to bring the people to reap blessings.
“PDIP with the spirit of mutual cooperation is always open and cooperation is always built for the benefit of Greater Indonesia, then there will be a follow-up meeting between PDIP and PPP to strengthen cooperation to win Ganjar in the 2024 Presidential Election,” said Hasto
During the meeting the Ketum PDIP, Megawati Soekarnoputri said that the appointment of the vice presidential candidate would be determined after going through a series of political dialogues taking into account the wishes of the people and the dynamics of the coalition with other parties.
“The Declaration of the Presidential Candidates in Batutulis is the result of long contemplation to secure Indonesia’s goals. In terms of choosing a vice presidential candidate, contemplation also needs to be done while looking at the aspirations of the Indonesian people,” said Megawati in a PDIP-PPP meeting (30/4).
The meeting between the two political parties took place in the spirit of friendship, bearing in mind that both parties already have a long historical track record in Indonesian politics.
