PPP and PDIP Establish Political Cooperation to Win Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 Election


The United Development Party (PPP) visited the office of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) at the PDIP DPP Office, Menteng, Central Jakarta, today, Sunday (30/4/2023).

PPP board members will meet PDIP general chairperson Megawati Soekarnoputri and future presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo. In this forum, PPP presented the results of the national leadership meeting (rapimnas) which nominated Ganjar as the 2024 presidential candidate.

In the political cooperation meeting held at the PDIP DPP office in Menteng, PPP submitted the results of PPP’s Rapimnas V to PDIP.

Muhammad Mardiono as Plt chairman of PPP emphasized that the collaboration between PPP and PDIP was a form of support to win Ganjar Pranowo as the 2024 Presidential Candidate.

“The foundation of cooperation in politics between the PDI Perjuangan and PPP is of course in order to successfully deliver Mr. Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate,” he said at a press conference between PPP and PDIP in Menteng.

Mardiono also hopes that Ganjar Pranowo as a 2024 presidential candidate will be able to continue the development program for a prosperous Indonesia.

“I wish Mr. Ganjar Pranowo would be part of the leadership relay in continuing our national development,” he said.

related to the vice presidential candidate, Mardiono said that the discussion in today’s meeting was not far off on this matter, his party would still continue to have discussions before going to the KPU in October.

“Regarding the vice presidential candidate, the PDIP and PPP cooperation stages have not yet entered that stage, because we will discuss this later after this stage is complete, of course before going to the KPU there will be a discussion of all of that,” he said.

On the other hand, the chairman of the PDIP said that the cawapres from Ganjar Pranowo would still have a discussion of in-depth contemplation. “Just wait for the game,” said Megawati Soekarnoputri.
