Proud of the Indonesian Esport Women’s National Team to make achievements at the 2023 Sea Games

Banten – Indonesian National Women’s Esport Team managed to make achievements on the international stage by winning a gold medal at the 2023 Cambodian Sea Games.

The Central Executive of the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI), Icuk Sugiarto, congratulated the Indonesian Women’s Esport athletes who have made achievements and made Indonesia’s name in the Esport branch even more glorious.

“This victory will be a trigger for Indonesian esports athletes. Hopefully it won’t only win at the Sea Games but also at other international stages,” said Icuk.

He represents the Central KONI hoping that Indonesian Esport will be even more successful. Icuk also appealed to the Indonesian Esport National Team athletes to make this victory a challenge to be able to excel at the Asian and even world level.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian female Esport athlete, Vivian said that she was very happy and proud of the victory of the Indonesian Women’s Esport National Team at the Cambodian Sea Games.

“I feel very happy, proud and did not expect to be an athlete and be useful for the country and feel like I have a responsibility for the country. Everyone hopes for us too, keep trying their best and in totality so that they get gold at the Cambodian Sea Games,” he said.

Vivian admitted that she had prepared very well so that she could bring a gold medal to Indonesia.

In order to keep achieving and defending the gold medal, continued Vivian, we will continue to play, practice continuously and we will extend our winstrike and always want to keep learning.

“When we see people running we want to run more, we don’t want to be chased. So we will continue to practice and practice,” he concluded.

Leadership General of Police (Purn) Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan as General Chair of PBESI has indeed proven successful in bringing many achievements in the field of Esport.

On the same occasion, Deputy Secretary General of the Indonesian Esports Executive Board (PBESI), Dr. I Gede Made Kartikajaya also expressed his pride for the victory of Indonesian Esport athletes.

“I am very proud of Indonesian Esport athletes who have provided extraordinary things so far. These Indonesian Esport heroes managed to get a gold medal at the Cambodian Sea Games,” he said when picking up the Women’s Esport Mobile Legends National Team Mobile Legends: Bang-Bang (MLBB) at Soekarno Hatta Airport, (12/05/2023).

The Deputy Secretary General of PBESI also hopes that Indonesia will get another gold medal in the Esport branch because there are still three more teams competing in the Sea Games.

“We hope that this is not all, there are three more teams still competing in the Cambodian Sea Games. Hopefully the three teams will get the same achievement, namely gold medals for Indonesia,” he said.
