Smooth Implementation of 2025 Hajj, Ministry of Religion Appreciates All Parties Involved

Mecca – The Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenag) confirmed that the implementation of the Hajj pilgrimage in 2025 was carried out smoothly and orderly.
Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar expressed his high appreciation to all parties involved in making the series of Hajj pilgrimages a success.
The Minister of Religion’s high appreciation also extended to the ranks of officers, TNI-Polri personnel, and partners of the Hajj organizers.
How solidity between the various cross-sectors is all good.
“Alhamdulillah, yesterday we reported the latest developments before we came here. The president gave us all appreciation for the excellent cooperation,” said Nasaruddin Umar.
“All officers, all parties related to the hajj, there is the Ministry of Religious Affairs, there is BP Hajj. It was seen by him as very solid,” said Nasaruddin Umar upon arriving at Jeddah Airport, Saudi Arabia.
As Amirul Hajj, Nasaruddin also directly monitored the process of sending pilgrims to Arafah.
He praised how the mass evacuation system was implemented neatly thanks to the real contribution of the TNI and Polri or security forces.
“Thank you once again to the TNI and Polri for their assistance to us,” he said.
He also asked for prayers from all Indonesian people so that all pilgrims can obtain an accepted Hajj.
The Chairperson of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, also gave high appreciation for the implementation of the Hajj which she considered to be quite good.
He emphasized the importance of providing protection for elderly pilgrims and also proactive health mapping.
According to the Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives, the peak momentum of the Hajj is the most crucial phase for the congregation, both spiritually and physically.

Puan also highlighted the new multi-syariah system implemented by the Saudi Arabian government.

Meanwhile, the Ansor Youth Movement through Sumarno assessed that the implementation of the 2025 Hajj went quite well even though there were technical obstacles.
“If there are technical obstacles, it is part of the dynamics of the field and cannot be directly called a systemic failure,” he stressed.
He expressed full support for the government’s commitment to providing the best service to the congregation. (*)
