The 14th Esports World Championship 2022 Officially Closed, Indonesia Managed to Become the Overall Champion

Bali – A proud achievement for the Indonesian National Esports Team who have become the General Champion of the 2022 Esports World Championship in Nusa Dua Bali. This achievement is an extraordinary achievement for Indonesian Esports athletes because with competition from 105 countries participating in the esports world championship, the Indonesian National Team has convincingly become the General Champion of the 14th IESF Esports world championship.

PB ESI Daily Chief Bambang Sunarwibowo officially closed the world’s largest Esports World Championship which was held outdoor on the Island of the Gods, Bali on Sunday 11/12/2022.

In his remarks, PB ESI Daily Chairman Bambang Sunarwibowo said he was proud of Indonesian Esports athletes for proving to the world that Indonesian Esports has now become the International Esports Barometer. This was proven by the Indonesian National Team succeeding in becoming the General Champion of the 14th Esports World Championship in 2022 in Nusa Dua Bali.

According to him, this achievement was not easy, but thanks to the hard work and collaboration of various parties including support from the Government, PB ESI, and the entire Indonesian Esports ecosystem, Indonesia became the General Champion of the 2022 World Esport Championship.

With Indonesia becoming the General Champion, it also proves the success of PB ESI General Chair Budi Gunawan in advancing and building Indonesian Esports and improving the skills of athletes who can be respected on the international stage. Becoming the General Champion means that the PB ESI target is achieved.

The 14th IESF World Championships in 2022 in Nusa Dua Bali have been well and smoothly held and received appreciation from the athletes who took part and officials from the countries participating in the world championships.

The 14th Esports World Championship in 2022 will be participated in by 105 countries which will be held outdoors. That way, Indonesia will make a new history in the Guinness Book of World Records with the most participation from the country and also be held outdoors in the World Esports Championship.
