Indonesia is currently in an important phase of maintaining stability and progress amid global uncertainty. However, mass actions supporting the ‘Indonesia Gelap’ movement only create fear and division within society, which should remain focused on development. At times like this, such provocations must be responded to firmly in order to maintain the conducive environment already created in society.

President Prabowo Subianto openly expressed optimism about Indonesia’s economic condition, which remains stable despite global uncertainty. Indonesia’s low inflation rate and steady economic growth above the global average reflect the resilience of the nation’s economy.

He stated that, despite significant challenges, Indonesia’s economic fundamentals continue to show substantial strength. This success is attributed to the government’s effective policies in maintaining economic balance.

However, amidst this optimism, provocative mass actions like those carried out by the supporters of ‘Indonesia Gelap’ will only lead to division. President Prabowo also emphasized the importance of vigilance against hoaxes and divisive efforts often wrapped in false information.

Such actions not only harm political and social stability but also create unnecessary fear. Society must remain focused on efforts to build and maintain peace, rather than getting caught up in harmful provocations.

Economist from Paramadina University, Wijayanto Samirin, stated that the government’s policy regarding food price stability ahead of Ramadan deserves appreciation.

However, he hoped that steps such as discounts and other economic policies should not only be applied during certain periods but throughout the year. He also emphasized the importance of improving the sectoral ecosystem to avoid burdening business actors, which will ultimately affect the long-term economy. This certainly requires careful policy and thorough consideration, not instant measures that could increase tension in uncertain situations.

Wijayanto stressed the importance of sustainable policies to improve public purchasing power and encourage more consistent economic growth. When the government seeks to reduce living costs by providing discounts, this step must be balanced with reducing operational costs for business actors. Only in this way can the economy grow healthily, without creating tensions in the market that could ultimately cause turmoil.

Meanwhile, member of the House of Representatives Commission XIII from the National Mandate Party (PAN), Arisal Aziz, appreciated the budget efficiency policy adopted by President Prabowo Subianto.

This efficiency step is considered very strategic, as it demonstrates the government’s support for public interests. Arisal emphasized that budget efficiency is a step to improve accountability in state financial management. By reducing unproductive budgets, the government can allocate funds to priority programs that directly address the needs of the people.

Arisal also added that this budget efficiency policy will have a positive impact on sectors that require more attention, such as the welfare of the lower community and SMEs.

Allocating more budget for these sectors will ensure that development is not only equitable but also maximizes benefits. Through strict supervision by the House of Representatives, this policy is expected to proceed as expected and not have negative impacts on other important sectors.

However, despite the positive objectives of budget efficiency, provocative actions by certain mass groups will disrupt these efforts. Baseless actions will only worsen the situation and undermine the foundation of stability that has been built by the government and society. In facing challenges like this, all elements of the nation must unite to maintain peace and support government policies that are in favor of the people.

In the end, it is essential for society to respond wisely to any form of provocation. Mass actions supporting ‘Indonesia Gelap’ not only disturb public order but also could damage the achievements made in maintaining political and economic stability. When the main focus should be on building the nation, the chaos created by such provocations will only make things worse.

The public needs to continue supporting the government’s efforts to maintain economic and political stability, as well as respond wisely to any form of provocation that will only add fear and tension to the already established conducive environment.

As President Prabowo has stated, all parties must be vigilant against efforts that try to destroy Indonesia’s unity and integrity. By staying alert, Indonesia can move forward toward better progress.
