Jakarta – President Prabowo Subianto, emphasized his commitment to building a sovereign and independent national economy in his remarks when inaugurating Wisma Danantara Indonesia on Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta.
The President also expressed his hope that the existence of this new office would be an important milestone for Danantara to further grow and develop as a professional and reliable state wealth management institution.
“Through the existence of this office, Danantara continues to grow and develop as a reliable state wealth management fund, capable of encouraging financing for various national strategic projects, as well as providing great benefits for improving the welfare of all Indonesian people,” said the President.
Meanwhile, Danantara Chief Executive Officer, Rosan Roeslani said the inauguration of the Danantara guesthouse is a strong symbol of the government’s efforts to encourage economic strengthening based on national independence.
“With the presence of Danantara, God willing, we can accelerate Indonesia’s economic development, targeting Indonesia’s economic growth to reach 8 percent in accordance with the direction of the President,” said Rosan.
Since its launch by President Prabowo on February 24, 2025, Rosan claims that Danantara Indonesia has shown significant achievements, with international investment cooperation worth 7 billion US dollars with Qatar, Russia, China, and Australia.
“The trust from abroad is extraordinary and we are still exploring other forms of collaboration and other funding,” he stressed.
Rosan also emphasized Danantara’s commitment to upholding the constitutional mandate, especially Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution, in managing natural resources for the prosperity of the people.
“With the existence of Danantara, God willing, we can accelerate Indonesia’s economic development, targeting Indonesia’s economic growth to reach 8% in accordance with the direction of the President,” explained Rosan.
The inauguration of Wisma Danantara is not only an important symbolic milestone, but also a real driver towards inclusive and sustainable national economic independence.*
