Presidential Candidate (Capres) Ganjar Pranowo is supported by many parties, including young entrepreneurs in West Sumatra (Sumbar). They appreciate the program initiated by Ganjar because it helps MSME business people. Ganjar is considered to care about small and medium entrepreneurs and advancing the business world in Indonesia.

The 2024 election is just around the corner and the presidential candidate campaign period will soon be around the corner. The Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) has announced that its presidential candidate in the upcoming election will be Ganjar Pranowo. He was hailed by many people because he was considered very capable of being Indonesia’s future leader.

Ganjar Pranowo is supported by the Indonesian people, including young entrepreneurs in West Sumatra. The young entrepreneurs who were Hetero for Startup (HFS) finalists in West Sumatra appreciated the program and supported Ganjar Pranowo to become President of the Republic of Indonesia. This program was initiated by Ganjar to support micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

On one occasion, Ganjar Pranowo attended a meeting with 35 HFS season 3 finalists, one of whom was HFS finalist Fajri from Padang, West Sumatra. Fajri, who is a clothing-based entrepreneur named Hamka Indonesia, started his business in 2019 and has 70 employees, 90 percent of whom are housewives (IRT).

Fajri stated that HFS is a good program because it provides a lot of space for start-up entrepreneurs to learn various things, such as foundations, financial literacy, marketing, and so on. Entrepreneurs also study with extraordinary mentors so that they can gain a lot of knowledge.

Apart from being a gathering place for start-up entrepreneurs, HFS also presents expert mentors in their fields, they even accompany the participants and have discussions without knowing the time.

Fajri added, in HFS entrepreneurs interact, increase networking, increase knowledge, especially now that MSMEs and entrepreneurship are being highly encouraged by the government. If possible, the HFS program would not only exist in Central Java but could exist throughout Indonesia.

Support from entrepreneurs in West Sumatra is very meaningful. Those who are entrepreneurs need support. Ganjar as a presidential candidate has an HFS program that can improve the quality of business people so that they are not only skilled in marketing, but can also manage finances and have other business skills.

Ganjar Pranowo understands that MSMEs are the backbone of the country’s economy because 90 percent of business people in Indonesia are still at the small and medium level. Supporting MSMEs means encouraging the economy in this country. Therefore, the Ganjar program is appreciated by West Sumatra entrepreneurs and MSME business people throughout Indonesia.

West Sumatra businessmen support Ganjar Pranowo because he cares about the little people. Ganjar understands that the people there like to trade, so he provides support to the people of West Sumatra through programs to support MSMEs. By participating in this program, their business will progress so that it is not affected by the effects of the post-pandemic or global recession.

Previously, Ganjar already had a program to help MSMEs called Lapak Ganjar. Ganjar Pranowo stated that Lapak Ganjar was created accidentally. When a street vendor can’t sell, the Satpol PP chases him away. Then there was a young person who said that he had 5 million followers on Instagram, why not help MSME sales.

Then Ganjar Pranowo helped make it happen and created Lapak Ganjar which is an online promotional event specifically for MSME products. To do this, Ganjar advertises products that have registered for the Lapak Ganjar program, through his personal social media account. Ganjar promotes these products for free. In this way, MSME businesses will continue to develop.

Meanwhile, around 1,000 village people in West Sumatra declared their support for Ganjar Pranowo to run as a candidate for President of the Republic of Indonesia in 2024. The declaration was held at Green Talao Park, Ulakan Tapakis, Padang Pariaman, West Sumatra.

West Sumatra community figure Iswandi stated that the people of West Sumatra are very enthusiastic about supporting Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 elections. Villagers in West Sumatra think that Ganjar, with his egalitarian attitude, understands more about the village and the needs of the people in it.

Ganjar Pranowo’s experience and success in government bureaucracy cannot be doubted. Ganjar led Central Java Province for two terms. Apart from that, Ganjar was also a Member of the Republic of Indonesia’s DPR and played a role in passing the Law on Villages and various other regulations related to the protection and welfare of villages.

Young entrepreneurs in West Sumatra fully support Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate in the upcoming 2024 elections. According to them, Ganjar is very suitable to be the next president because he cares about the small people and pays attention to MSME business people. If MSMEs are helped, Indonesia will automatically progress because MSMEs are the backbone of the country’s economy.
