Beware of the Awakening of the Khilafah Ideology
The government has officially dissolved the Hizb ut-Tahrir (HT) in 2017. Nevertheless, the discourse of the establishment of the caliphate seems to have been embedded in the hearts of his followers. The public needs to be aware of the rise of the ideology of the Khilafah. If not, Pancasila is at stake.
The expansion area of the Khilafah is indeed not so significant. But it still shows quite disturbing movements. The reason is, although the supporting organizations which are keen to voice this understanding have been dissolved, the reality is that the spread of the Khilafah concept is still ongoing. In fact, it is suspected to grow new shoots with a new mode to attract a number of followers, in particular, young people.
Young people who still have a level of emotional instability are much targeted by the callers to understand the Khilafah. The thirst for Islamic heroism and the demands of existence in the environment are the basis of young people who are more susceptible to understanding what is deemed deviant. In addition, the role of the digital world is also more or less influenced the movement of the Khilafah understanding.
According to an intelligence observer from the University of Indonesia, Ridlwan Habib stated that if his ideology was rampant that arose was people’s distrust of the government. According to him, this ideology aims to create an understanding that the government is not authoritative. This understanding led to the assumption that the government was anti-Islamic, anti-Muslim, and intended to isolate Muslims. And if this system continues the country can be chaotic. Because, it is quite possible the people will defy government policy.
In addition to the ideology of the Khilafah, the government needs to be aware of neo-communism and anarcho syndicalism. All understand that has the aim to create distrust of the government. Of course, the wheels of government will run smoothly if these ideas are allowed to develop. Worse, if the possibility of government is then controlled through social media.
Earlier, Defense Minister Ryamizard Ryacudu asked the public not to be easily influenced by the Khilafah. Moreover, this understanding has infiltrated the realm of education. He stated, the threat of the Khilafah was openly wanting to replace the Pancasila ideology. This has come to ruin, has been running in schools and universities, “he added.
This ideology is used by several groups that are suspected of wanting to divide the unity and unity of Indonesia. They want to establish their own country and separate from the Republic of Indonesia. He reiterated that the Khilafah was very crossing with the norms contained in the Pancasila ideology. It also does not want to understand the khilafah developing in the community. This Pancasila must be preserved. We cannot let the student’s mindset change. in the next 20 to 30 years if it goes like that, then Indonesia could be destroyed, war, said Ryamizard.
The members of the Detachment 88 Antiterror Police Headquarters Ahmad Nurwahid gave their opinion, through the Sufism approach is one of the solutions in the radicalization prevention program in Indonesia. Sufism will fortify the people from radical propaganda. Including the understanding of the khilafah that seemed gray and not in accordance with the actual teachings.
Ahmad Nurwahid added, one of the weapons to fight radicalism for the Muslim community was to encourage religious activities such as mauludan, tahlilan, salawat, manawiban, as well as other activities that were strong in culture and religion.
Meanwhile, according to observers of Intelligence and Terrorism Stanislaus Riyanta said, radicalization is very massive in the archipelago, even it has happened to people who have high economic and educational levels.
Radicalization, said Stanislaus, was carried out from pre-school education to the tertiary realm. The most targeted are the younger generation. The purpose of groups with radical understanding is to realize the Khilafah state.
Its distribution is suspected to have happened very quickly because it was also influenced by advances in internet technology. Some lone wolf terrorists who are exposed to radical understandings because they read content through the internet world that is quite freely accessible to anyone.
Although many are considered good, but in reality the understanding of the khilafah is incompatible with the four pillars of the Indonesian state. In addition, if the Khilafah is adopted as a government system, what about people who have different religions, where do they want to be taken? Yet as we know, Indonesia is a country rich in culture. Various differences between the sides of religion, culture, customs and others are able to blend well through Pancasila which has lasted for so long. So if there is someone who wants to replace him, he wants to fight the government and divide the unity and unity. This of course can be categorized as an enemy of the nation, right?
