MSME businessmen are also among those affected by the pandemic. They almost collapsed because people’s purchasing power had decreased, while they were unable to increase their business capital to develop their business. The Job Creation Law is a savior, because there is an investment cluster that allows local entrepreneurs to cooperate with foreign investors.

The covid-19 pandemic has become a bomb that devastates the business world, and almost all business people have experienced a decline in their selling power. Moreover, UMKM entrepreneurs are financially short. They have to rack their brains in order to survive in order to keep selling, even though the global economy is still unstable.

To help UMKM businessmen, the government created an MSME cluster and investment cluster, as well as a cluster for the ease of doing business in the Job Creation Law. This sapujagat law is of help to MSME entrepreneurs who had been gasping for air, due to the fierce corona storm. Articles and regulations derived from this law can change the face of the business world.

Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah stated that the Job Creation Law increased the ease of doing business in Indonesia. The important point in economic recovery in this law is that it can develop MSMEs. Because there are many conveniences for small and medium entrepreneurs.

Ida continued, the Job Creation Law also has an investment cluster that can improve the investment climate in Indonesia. So that it will accelerate economic recovery in Indonesia. in the sense that foreign investment will inject fresh funds and improve financial conditions in our country.

The Job Creation Law also helps local entrepreneurs obtain business licenses, because it can be done online, and the results come out in just 7 working days. If there is a business license, then the UMKM businessman can export, because clients abroad always require business legality. The MSME market will expand and they will make profits in dollars.

Business and investment licenses are related because if there are investors, it is necessary to have ease in having legality. It’s no secret that in the past, entrepreneurs were a bit lazy to enter Indonesia because of the confusing and long bureaucracy. But now all the rules have been trimmed, so they believe in investing.

Why is investment so necessary? First, funds from investors can be used as fuel in developing a business. We know for ourselves that many MSME businesses have collapsed, even though selling is their only source of income. If there is money from investors, the business can be revived and entrepreneurs will be enthusiastic about working again.

If the UMKM business is allowed to collapse just like that, it will be very sad. Because the brand they sell is already loved by the public. In addition, small and medium-sized entrepreneurs are the backbone of the Indonesian economy. The reason is because 90% of businessmen in this country are MSME entrepreneurs. So, the government is trying hard to get them back up.

Economic observer Indra Sipayung stated that the importance of investment is an increase in the quality of human resources. When investors enter, they transfer knowledge and eventually the workers know that overseas work standards are very strict. They become more disciplined and diligent in learning new things, as well as enthusiasm for work.

Foreign investment is also needed to increase exports. Local entrepreneurs who work with foreign investors will sell their products overseas. The reason for this is because foreign investors impose strict quality control standards, making it feasible to export. They also paved the way, because they had partners abroad.

The Job Creation Law has been proven to advance the business and investment world. So that local entrepreneurs will collaborate with international business people. There will be mutually beneficial cooperation, and investors will provide knowledge transfer . So that the quality of human resources will improve.
