716 Electric Vehicles Ready to Support the HLF-MSP and IAF 2024 Events in Bali

Bali, Indonesia will host the High-Level Forum on Multi-Stakeholder Partnership and the Indonesia Africa Forum 2024 (HLF-MSP & 2nd IAF 2024) in Bali, from September 1 to 3, 2024.

In those forums, the Indonesian government is preparing environmentally friendly transportation for the mobility of state guests.

The Ministry of State Secretariat has revealed that the summit will be attended by representatives from delegations of 52 countries, including those from Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Pacific Islands. A total of 158 units of Wuling electric vehicles (EV) have been deployed to support the mobility of the delegation, consisting of 100 units of Binguo EV and 58 units of Cloud EV.

Vice President of Wuling Motors, Wang Weisen, expressed deep gratitude to the Ministry of State Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia for choosing the Wuling EV electric vehicle as the mode of transportation for delegates and state guests during international events.

“Wuling’s participation in this international event began with the G20 in 2022, and until now, Wuling continues to be trusted as the official car partner for high-level conferences,” said Wang Weisen on Saturday (August 31, 2024).

She explained that in this event series, Wuling assigned 42 units of Cloud EV to serve as protocol and rescue units for the VVIP series, while 16 units were used for the national committee’s operations during the event.

Meanwhile, the Head of the General Bureau of the Ministry of State Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia, Eka Denny Mansjur, revealed that there will be representatives from at least 52 countries, including those from Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Pacific Islands, expected to attend this summit.

“We hope that Wuling can continue to collaborate with the Indonesian government for other international activities in the future as a manifestation of the commitment of the Ministry of State Secretariat in supporting environmentally friendly transportation technology transformation in Indonesia,” said Eka Denny Mansjur.

Wuling also provides an electric vehicle service center located in the Jimbaran area. This 24-hour service center includes parking areas, charging stations, car washes, integrated and real-time pool management, security personnel, and mechanical staff.

In addition, there are charging points available in the ITDC parking center designated for Cloud EV units operating within the VVIP network. []
