Governor of Central Kalimantan: need IDR 2.020 billion for confront the electric crisis

CIDISS, Central Kalimantan – Central Kalimantan is the second largest province area in Indonesia. The geographic condition in central Kalimantan province is variety, such river, hill, swamp, forest, etc. it influence the building and facility in there. One of them is electric.
Today, there are hundreds of village that does not consume electric yet and the amount of it is around 190.169 households in central Kalimantan. The villages are on border and remote area. According to data by government of central Kalimantan, the villages that might to get electric is around 313 villages with 59.976 neighborhood association and the amount of length 2.378 km.
Governor of Central Kalimantan province, Sugianto Sabran said that the party will implement the development of renewable energy (EBT) and built network to distribute the electric to entire remote villages. According to him, government of central Kalimantan, the party need around IDR 2.020 billion for confronts the electric crisis.
The development of ETB to remote villages is spreading PLTS (solar power generation), centered PLTS, PLTMH (Micro hydro power plant) and PLT Bayu (wind power plant). Sugiyanto, he previously works as entrepreneur said that the development of ETB will spend budget around IDR 951 billion and the target, it will finish on year of 2021. Meanwhile to build the electric network to every single village need budget around IDR 1.070 billion.
“By the data, we make a conclusion that central Kalimantan province need IDR 2.020 billion for confronts the electric crisis. So, we have planned, it will start on year of 2017 until 2021,” said him.
