The three years of Jokowi-JK’s administration have incised a variety of progress and achievements for Indonesia. The vision of Nawacita is realized by the government of the Working Cabinet of Jokowi in real work in various fields.
CIDISS. The welfare vision of the Jokowi government is focused in several areas, one of them in the infrastructure sector. The goal is that inequality between regions in Indonesia can be minimized. Ongoing infrastructure development, including toll road construction, trans-provincial road construction (trans) in the outer islands of Java, port development, airport construction, railway development, reservoir and irrigation construction, and the construction of 1 million homes. Jokowi’s government is also focused on continuing infrastructure projects that stem from the previous government. This is an effort to make the state resources maximally empowered.
In addition to building the country physically, Jokowi government also strives to improve the maximum health and education services for the people. Health and Education is a basic need that must be met by the state. Therefore, the Healthy Card Indonesia (KIS) and Kartu Indonesia Pintar (KIP) program continue to be encouraged by the government so that every citizen can enjoy education and health properly.
The above development programs cost a lot. Therefore, the government is required to utilize the maximum and efficient state resources. The Amnesty Tax Program is implemented within the framework. It is a program to save the state treasury and the state budget from tax collectors. As a result, thousands of trillions of state money can be saved. In addition, to restore the role of the state in the mining business, Jokowi government managed to change the status of the mine PT. Freeport from Contract of Work (KK) to become Mining Business License (IUP).
In the field of government bureaucracy, Jokowi seeks to realize a modern, transparent, and efficient bureaucracy. Therefore, the acceleration program for bureaucratic reform is continuing. One of the proofs is the time permission cuts in various Government agencies. Also followed by efforts to eliminate illegal pungli. Other evidence one of them is the improvement of Hajj service. Then the next achievement in efforts to improve the relationship between the center, provincial and district / city.
Jokowi’s success in leading the government, making Indonesia categorized as a country whose government is most trusted by the people according to the Gallup World Poll survey. Indonesia ranks first in Switzerland, India and Norway.
Jokowi also declared war on terrorism in Indonesia. Due to its security performance, the UN Security Council has provided a high appreciation of the response and quick response to the January 14, 2016 terror act, as well as the appreciation of the public response that rejects terror with the #KamiTidakTakut tag through various social media channels.
From his success in building Indonesia, Jokowi got a lot of appreciation from home and abroad. For example, the award as the only country leader in Asia and Australia in 2016 that positively performs in all aspects of the Bloomberg version. Enter the 100 most influential figures in the world by 2015 by Time magazine. Award by Fortune magazine in 2014 as the top 50 world leaders. Also received the highest award from the kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a leader of friendly countries.
Hard work will certainly result in achievement. Then, work for the good of the people is the duty of the state leader and Jokowi within his government are working on it all for the progress of the Indonesian Nation.
