Door to Door Vaccination and the extension of the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) are a surefire strategy to control Covid-19. With the Covid-19 situation increasingly under control, the National Economic Recovery (PEN) is expected to run optimally.

Karyono Wibowo as Executive Director of the Indonesian Public Institute (IPI) appreciated the steps taken by the intelligence agency (Badan Intelijen Negara) which took part as a pioneer in making a breakthrough for door to door vaccination.
This effort is the right step in establishing herd immunity. On the occasion of a live talk show on Radio Muara Jakarta, Karyono said that the door to door vaccine carried out by BIN and then followed by the TNI/Polri and all levels of society on the direct instructions of President Jokowi was the right step. In the midst of conditions such as this, of course, requires progressive and appropriate steps.

Therefore, the target spectrum must be expanded not only in 14 Provinces, because the impact of this vaccination is significant. Karyono gave input to the institution which was fronted by General (pol) Budi Gunawan in order to better anticipate the entry of new variants so that the vaccines that had been given were not wasted.

Then, the second is to solve the problem of fake news or hoaxes in the community. Meanwhile, a public policy observer, Saiful SH added, all efforts to break the chain of transmission of Covid-19 have been carried out by the government, including the Covid-19 vaccination program.

Considering the need in the field to accelerate herd immunity as a whole in Indonesia. Therefore, the door to door vaccination program initiated and initiated by BIN is the right step and is a popular policy.

Saiful said that the Covid-19 pandemic could also be interpreted as a threat to human security. The threat of this pandemic, if it continues to increase, will at any time threaten economic stability and health stability and lead to national stability.

He conveyed the reason why door-to-door vaccination was a strategic step because it was considered capable of breaking the chain of transmission of the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, the COVID-19 pandemic is a threat to human security both in terms of economic health and national stability and in accordance with the State Intelligence Law No. 17 of 2011 concerning prevention, deterrence and countermeasures.

So the door to door vaccine program is very important. Considering the potential threat today is not in the form of separatism and radicalism. Previously, Jokowi considered that the door to door vaccination program was one of the best health services. The reason is, officers will go directly to the village or community house to be vaccinated.

The former governor of DKI Jakarta also asked for the Covid-19 vaccination program, both door to door and to students, to continue. He hopes that these programs will help establish communal immunity or herd immunity, so that people can be protected from transmission of the Corona virus. He hopes that with this door to door vaccination program, it can reduce the spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, the Mayor of Bekasi, Rahmat Effendi, said that public visits to vaccination booths in his area had begun to decline. Meanwhile, the vaccination achievement has reached 75%. The population of Bekasi City targeted to be vaccinated is 2 million people. As of October 3, 75 percent of those who have been vaccinated have been. To achieve 100 percent, his party together with the TNI and Polri held a door to door vaccination.

His party is also preparing special stickers to be affixed to homes. This sticker is used as a marker that the householder has received the vaccine or not. The stickers that have been prepared have reached 770 thousand, according to the number of families in Bekasi City.

Rahmat said, giving vaccines to the community was an effort by the local government to protect its citizens from exposure to Covid-19. The current condition, Covid-19 cases in the region has been sloping. In fact, he wants if there is an extension of the PPKM entry to level 1. Now we can see that in many regions in Indonesia, the number of confirmed positive COVID-19 has decreased significantly.

Herd Immunity is the main goal of the current Government, the status of the pandemic must be ended with discipline in carrying out health protocols and vaccinations. The government has made a policy that the covid-19 vaccine will be given free of charge to the public, so that door-to-door vaccination is a concrete step for the government in suppressing the transmission of the Corona virus.
