Previously it had circulated on social media about the socialization of two women who campaigned door-to-door. Both of them campaigned door-to-door and conveyed to the people a number of things that would happen if the presidential candidate number 01 Joko Widodo won the presidential election. The video is delivered in Sundanese.

“Jokowi’s two-day seagrass days have come to Sora Azan, but I am a religious slave, but I just want to make a tie. Awewe jeung awewe married, lalaki jeung lalaki married, “said the woman in the video.

It means, “If Jokowi’s two periods will not be heard again, there will be no more children reciting, no more wearing a veil, women and women can marry, men and men can marry.”

These mothers’ actions were recorded and circulated by Twitter users under the name @ citrawida5 account. The video was allegedly made on February 13, 2019. The video shows the home address of Gading Elok 1 Housing, Blok 014 number 12A, RT 004 RW 029, Karawang. In the video, mothers door-to-door influence citizens not to vote for candidate number 01 for reasons that exist. Indeed, Jokowi very often gets SARA-smelling slander. One example is Jokowi descended from the PKI.

The Indonesian Police Strategic Studies Institute (Lemkapi) called on the police to immediately reveal the main actors driving a number of “Ma’am – emak” black campaigns against one of the presidential candidate pairs in Karawang, West Java.

The Executive Director of Lemkapi Edi Hasibuan requested that the police focus on the investigation of other parties who gave orders to conduct black campaigns. According to Edi, the action of the mother and daughter campaigning door-to-door was disturbing the local community ahead of the presidential election which will be held on April 17, 2019.

Lemkapi also expressed his appreciation to the West Java Regional Police who moved quickly to investigate the actions of the women who were spread through social media. The former Commissioner of the National Police Commission (Kompolnas) considers the “mother-mother” allegedly violating the law on elections and the Electronic Information and Transaction Law (ITE). Edi also urged all elements of the community to convey a message of peace and courtesy when campaigning for the presidential and vice presidential candidates.

“In order to create safe conditions in Indonesia,” he said.

Earlier, the police secured three women suspected of black campaigning in Karawang, West Java on Sunday 24 February 2019 ahead of midnight. It is known that the three mothers in the video carried out a socialization containing a black campaign against one of the presidential and vice-presidential pairs.

National Police Chief Gen. Tito Karnavian said he would not tolerate people using the black campaign in the upcoming 2019 Pileg and Pilpres. “Polri will not tolerate (perpetrators) black campaign. “Black campaign is a crime, we will act because it is a violation of ITE information and Electronic Transactions,” Tito said.

So, he continued, the Directorate of Cyber Crime of Police would also monitor social media. Tito stated that anything that was not in accordance with the facts, defamation and slander included the black campaign category.

In addition, the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) has predicted the possibility of many black campaigns using the issue of the Indonesian Communist Party (PKI) and religion in regional elections, legislative elections and presidential elections. Head of BIN Budi Gunawan said the community must be more vigilant and sensitive throughout 2018 and 2019. If the community is easily provoked, the possibility of them being politicized will be more open.

As in the case that ensnared three mothers who carried out a black campaign against Jokowi. All three have been arrested because they allegedly violated Article 14 paragraph (1) Law number 1 of 1946 concerning Criminal Law regulations about spreading false news. Of course, with the enforcement of these rules in order to create a deterrent effect for the perpetrators, hard-line supporters will rethink if they will do black campaign.

The three mothers came from a group called Emak Party – Emak Supporting Prabowo – Sandi (Pepes). This was confirmed by a spokesman for the National Winning Agency (BPN) Ferdinan Hutahaean.

Indeed, so far it is not known how often these mothers carry out their actions. It is also unclear how effective these actions make citizens choose the opposition. But when referring to the survey of the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI), West Java is one of three regions where people are most vulnerable to receiving news hoaxes as truth, namely related to the issue of the rise of communism, criminalization of Islamic religious leaders and the influx of millions of Chinese workers.

The fact is West Java is ‘key’. In this region the majority of voters came, the number reached 32,636,846, greater than East Java (30,554,761), Central Java (27,430,269). Banten (7,452,971) and Jakarta (7,211,891).

Ujang Komarudin as Executive Director of Indonesia Political Review also spoke up, acceptance of hoaxes must be addressed immediately. If not, the Hoax will become truth and danger.

In this case we also recalled the hoax written on the People’s Torch tabloid, wherein the Tabloid told that Jokowi was a Chinese child, this was also clarified by Jokowi that the accusation was untrue.
