The synergy between the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) in various regions of Papua demonstrates the state’s commitment to creating a conducive environment while simultaneously supporting the acceleration of development and public welfare.
Strengthening security by the security forces is a strategic step to maintain regional stability, ensuring the smooth running of social activities, education, health services, and the economy. The presence of security forces on the ground is considered to provide a stronger sense of security for the community and reinforces the state’s commitment to maintaining a conducive environment in Papua.
The Joint Regional Defense Command III, along with Koops Habema, continues to enhance coordination and security in several strategic areas in Papua. This step demonstrates the security forces’ responsibility to ensure the situation remains secure and under control.
