Post-election polarization has subsided along with the meeting of Jokowi and Prabowo, but apparently it left a separate story in the internal Gerindra Party which was making a scene and became suspicious of the issue of stowaways around Prabowo – Sandiaga Paslon in the last presidential election.
The accusation about the stowaway was first conveyed by Deputy Chairperson Sufmi Dasco Ahmad. According to him, the stowaway group tried to use Prabowo for their personal and group interests.
Dasco, who was mentioned as a person who contributed to the Prabowo-Jokowi reconciliation, did not specifically explain who he meant as a stowaway.
But he gave a little hint, that the stowaway in question was the party who was disappointed with Prabowo’s request that his supporters not demonstrate in front of the Constitutional Court Building when the General Election Results Dispute (PHPU) session was taking place.
Dasco also said, the nickname “stowaway” was also pinned to those who often instigated Prabowo Subianto in the 2019 Presidential Election for personal gain.
We hope that the Gerindra Party will reveal the figure of “stowaway” who is considered to want to make Indonesia Chaos. Issues related to stowaways should not be underestimated so it must be disclosed to the public who is meant.
The issue of stowaways seems to have the potential to bring danger to the integrity of the nation, so Gerindra must open as wide as possible about the existence of these people.
It is felt necessary to find out who they are, what their motives are and who is behind them, so that they seem very fanatical about one candidate.
The illegal passengers during the 2019 Presidential Election tirelessly supported Prabowo. In fact, their support did not recede until the National Winning Agency (BPN) Prabowo – Sandiaga filed a dispute over the Presidential Election to the Constitutional Court (MK).
The illicit passenger also intends to demonstrate during the Presidential Election dispute session around the Constitutional Court. However, at that time Prabowo firmly refused.
Apparently the decision and direction from Prabowo made the stowaway who from the beginning supported him feel disappointed. Do not stop there, they also instigated the former Kopassus Danjen to include scholars and mother-daughter to protest the results of the 2019 Presidential Election.
The House of Representatives Commission III member did not wish to mention in detail the connection with the stowaway. However, Prabowo and his party have prepared a strategy to “cleanse” them.
One of the strategies is certainly a step that can change the political atmosphere significantly, namely the meeting between Prabowo and President-elect Joko Widodo on the Integrated Moda Raya Train (MRT) which took place in early July. He also told that the meeting succeeded in making stowaways “bite their fingers”.
Therefore, the meeting between Prabowo and Jokowi would certainly be an event to reconnect Indonesian unity after the 2019 Presidential Election. And as an effort to get rid of parasites that supported Prabowo for their personal interests.
On a different occasion, Gerindra Party Wasekjen Andre Rosiade said there were stowaways using Prabowo Subianto. The stowaways want to make the situation in Indonesia chaotic and also want President Jokowi to be blamed for these conditions.
Andre said the security forces knew the figure of the “stowaway”. He also ensured that the figure did not come from political parties or Ulama.
This shows that the appearance of the illicit Passenger was intended because there was a kind of distortion to turn the situation around. Especially to confuse the situation in the 2019 presidential election.
Whatever the efforts of the stowaway must be cleaned up, especially if the venom only incites and blames the political opponents too much, if left unchecked they will become directors in the drama called sheepfighting.
The reconciliation step taken by the two camps certainly becomes a kind of enlightenment for the community, so we know which supporters of Prabowo are truly sincere in their support and which support them because they have certain motives.
In democracy, we must understand that competition should not destroy friendships. The meeting between Prabowo and Jokowi certainly showed their commitment to maintaining peace.
Then what about those who are disappointed with the reconciliation, it is easy to guess, they are certainly disappointed because their interests are not channeled, hopefully the stowaways will not damage political stability in Indonesia.
