Jakarta, CIDISS – Terrorism is a crime that has international and criticism from many countries in the world. Many countries have good cooperation in terms of exchange of information or in the case of a joint operation to deny international terrorism include happening Indonesia. Terrorist groups go to Indonesia because Indonesia is a country that has a very diverse differences, starting from ethnic, religious, racial, and different cultures in each region. Such differences, especially religious differences are exploited by terrorist groups to create an opinion or a different understanding of religion in society. Terrorist groups are using the guise of religion, affecting religious groups in Indonesia and to create an opinion and understanding that can be done with the jihad against the infidels, and the Indonesian government considered infidels because they do not use the caliphate system of government. Thus create opinion that it halal to kill government officials who do not agree with the Caliphate.
At first terrorist group to work in a structured and together in large groups. As in the case of the first Bali bombing carried out by a terror group that tends to have a lot of members. However, the current trend of movement with a large group began to be abandoned, because it was too dangerous for them and easy to be tracked and captured by the relevant authorities.
