CKG Strengthens the Quality of Health for Children and Students in the Region

Palu – The Central Sulawesi Provincial Government continues to demonstrate its commitment to improving the quality of health for children and students through the CKG (Free Health Check) program, launched to coincide with the commemoration of National Education Day (Hardiknas) 2026. This program is a concrete manifestation of the government’s presence in ensuring that the younger generation grows up healthy and ready to face future challenges.

Hardiknas momentum is being used as a strategic step to expand the reach of health services, especially for students in various regions. By collaborating with the education and health sectors, the CKG program not only focuses on basic health checks but also aims to build awareness from an early age about the importance of maintaining overall health.

The Deputy Governor of Central Sulawesi (Sulteng), Reny A. Lamadjido, said that his administration encourages the public to take advantage of the CKG (Free Health Check) program as part of their health care efforts.

“After the health walk, please take advantage of the Free Health Check service provided on-site. It’s free of charge,” said Reny.

Reny emphasized that the CKG Program is part of the central and regional government’s initiative to raise public awareness of the importance of health and encourage healthy lifestyles. She also emphasized the importance of maintaining good health as part of efforts to support the quality of education.

“A healthy physical condition is a crucial factor in supporting an optimal teaching and learning process, both for students and educators,” Reny said.

The activity, themed “Strengthening Universal Participation to Achieve Quality Education for All,” was attended by hundreds of participants, including teachers, students, and the general public.

Reny also stated that this activity was not only a joint sports event but also a momentum to strengthen togetherness through various positive activities involving all elements of society.

“It also strengthens the commitment of all elements of society to realizing quality and inclusive education in Central Sulawesi and reflects the spirit of moving towards a Nambaso Central Sulawesi,” Reny explained.

This program also aligns with the national agenda to improve the quality of Indonesia’s human resources. By ensuring the health of children and students, the government hopes to create a generation that is not only intellectually superior but also physically and mentally resilient.

Through the CKG program, the government not only provides healthcare services but also builds the foundation for the nation’s future. With strong synergy between the education and health sectors, efforts to create Indonesia’s golden generation are becoming increasingly realistic.
